With the mutation and inter-breeding going on, several races are now almost extinct and new ones have formed.

Demon: The name pretty much says it all, although demons are nto always evil. They vary just as much, if not more, than humans with many sub-races within the general species of "demon". If they interbreed, it is usually with humans, though very few RARE cases have been seen where an angel and a demon have interbred. One famous example of this was Zale Armstrong.

Angel: The opposite of the demons, angels are basically what their name says. However, their race is declining for they refuse to interbreed much. (Stuck up bastards) Although they are usually percieved as good creatures, angels can be just as evil as demons are made out to be. If they have to interbreed, it is usually with humans that already have angel blood in them.

Vampire: This mutation occured in a small group of half demons, where upon bearing children discovered that it was genetic. Although they dont "suck" blood, they do enjoy drinking it out of glasses. Their whole bodies are basically "dead". They still taking in air though, for as one once said "its rather annoying not to have a sense of smell". Other than that though, they have no pulse, hearteat, or body warmth. Even if they are in a desert, their bodies rarely reach a temperature of 50 degrees. Think human, er, vampire icepack.

Human: With the immense ammount of interbreeding going on, one is unlikely to find very many pure humans. That is, humans with no outside blood. Most "pure" humans usually have a demon or angel somewhere in their lineage that has been discreetly crossed off or is too far back for them to know about, or are so inbred that they have lost most, if not all, good genetic features.

Dragon: Very rare and very wise. This best describes the dragons. Although no where near as huge as Draken, the dragon oft seen by Zake's side, they are still large enough to carry two light people. They are about 10 feet tall at the shoulder, a fourth of their original size, with a wingspan of about 50 feet. THey are always of neutral ground, but can be spelled or possesed so that they will aid one side or another. The few dragons alive live in the special stables builts for them in the west side of town or in the caves within the cliffs about a mile to the south of town. --ADMIN PERMISSION REQUIRED--

Fallen Angel: A group of angels that have dark wings. They are the outcome of a demon and an angel breeding as as such, are a once-in-a-demon's-lifetime kind of creature. Because of their lineage, fallen angels are very anti-social and mistrustful. It takes alot of courage, stubborness, and love to break through their shell and get them to reach out to people.--ADMIN PERMISSION REQUIRED--

Werewolf: A rare mutation in shapeshifters that causes them to only be able to tranform into a wolf whose markings, colors, and general shape all remain constant. Their mutation is a reccessive gene and thus, sometimes doesnt carry down to thier children.

Changlings: Any race that has "bonded" with one of the core elements: fire, water, air, earth. Changlings that bond with fire usually are pheonix-bonded, ones with water usually sea serpent-bonded, air with pegasis, and earth with centaurs. Rarely there are other variants within the elements, however. (please PM me first with your idea so I can ok it)

Demon:

Powers: Demons can control any element, save for light, and are weak to opposite of their element.

Possible strengths: Speed, strength, intellegence, sense of smell, sense of hearing

Possible weaknesses: Intellegence, speed, magical ability, Demonsbane weaponry

Appearance: Steriotypical demonoid appearance, can have just about any shape.

Angel

Powers Angels can controle any element, save for ones of darkness

Possible Strength: Enhanced strength, speed, intelligence, enhanced sight, flight.

Possible Weakness Seeming weak in dark shadows, emotional lack, superiority complex, strength, dark weaponry.

Appearance: Humanoid, generally 'beautiful', perfect features, flawless skin, white/silver wings sprouting from shoulderblades.

Vampire

Powers: Can controle a few elements, though not to the ability of angles or demons.

Possible Strength: Enhanced speed, strength, hearing, sight, can sence a living body within 100 feet.

Possible Weakness: Detests sunlight, weak against fire elemental, can be swayed by a higher power.

Appearance: Humanoid, immaculate appearance, pale skin, unnaturally white eyes, dark hair.

Human

Powers: Some possess elemental, weakest of all

Possible Strength: Intelligence, engenuity

Possible Weakness: Strength, speed, intelligence, easally harmed, power hungry

Appearance: Go find a mirror.

Dragon

Powers: Controle over any element, flight, extremely strong and wise.

Possible Strength Strong, very intelligent, wise, flight ability, strongest with fire element.

Possible Weakness: Can go 'feral' (aka: go beasty and unsmart) can be swayed by material posessions, have a physical weak spot on throat.

Appearance: Well...dragony...Six limbs, four legs and two wings, held on a strong body. Neck is long and serpentine, topped with a wedge shaped head, mouth full of teeth, slitted eyes, and horns top their head. Tails are very long, topped with a spaded tail, spines run down the length of their back. Scales can be any color, with a multitude of patterns and markings.

Fallen Angel

Powers Strong at elemental abilities, wicked and devious.

Possible Strength: Strong with elements, intelligent, fast, sharp witted.

Possible Weakness: Weak against opposite elementals, can be harmed by 'mortal' weaponry, distrusting of anyone but their own kind.

Appearance: Like angels, but their wings are dark, ranging from reds to blacks. Often having unnatural colored hair/eyes.

Werewolf

Powers: Stronger than normal humans when in human form, bearing the same sences of a wolf.

Possible Strength: Strength, dog/wolf like sences, speed, limited transformation ability.

Possible Weakness: Weak against silver, its like poison to them, elemental powers.

Appearance: Human is human, may or may not have yellow/dog like eyes and shaggy hair. Wolf appearance is just like a wolf, but slightly bigger, the shoulder tending to stand at a humans shoulder level. They also have an 'inbetween' form. Half wolf, half human, this is just as it sounds, just as how the steriotype appearance is, human shape, wolf head, tail, fur covering body, exc exc.

Changlings

Powers: Entirely dependant on the user, their control, thier experience, and the strength of their Bond

Possible Strength: Elemental control, speed, strength, etc

Possible Weakness: Weak against the opposite element(ALWAYS, see bottom for opposites), weak against shadow if fire, weak against lightning if water, etc

Appearance: When in humanoid form, they look just that. Humanoid. Their real appearance though, depends on their "base race", wether it be human, demon, angel, or etc. Their elemental or changling forms, however, are entirely dependant on how "close" they are to their element and their level of control. An extremely close and extremely skilled changling for example, might be able to become a fully-fledged centaur while calling upon their powers, while a loosely bonded and inexperienced changlnig might only be able to have bracelets of fire about their wrists and ankles.

Elves

Powers Control mainly water and earth, though a rare case of ice or lightning elementalism can be found. Wind is also found, though uncommon.

Possible Strength: Enhanced strength, speed, intelligence, enhanced sight, good woodsmanship

Possible Weakness Dislike barren places, some may hate small spaces, can be judgemental and prejustice, weak to opposing element

Appearance: Always have pointed ears, ear length varies from slight point to very elongated ears, humanoid, usually from 5'6" to 6', slenderly built with sleek muscles.

If creating a vampire or werewolf character, its a really good idea to read this as youre character probably wont be accepted if you dont.

Vampires are the result of a genetic mutation in a half-demon line, with their gene being domiant. Thus, most pairings, with a few exceptions, typically result in a vampire offspring.

The few exceptions are with angels, full-blood demons, and werewolves. If a vampire bred with an angel, the angel's genes would become partially domiant and it would usually result in a miscarriage. If in the chance the baby isnt miscarried, there is a 50/50 chance of it being demon or angel. With a full-blood demon, it would result in a "normal" offspring due to vampires simply being a genetically mutated half-demon. With a werewolf, it would result in another "human" offspring with the child being whatever the mother and father's genes would combine to form if they werent a vampire and a werewolf.

For example, if the mother would be half human, half angel and the father quarter angel and three-fourths human under normal conditions, the child would come out to be 3/8 angel and 5/8 human.

However, a vampiric child from a vampire mother usually results in them other's death after he or she is born. This is due to the strain of creating life within an already dead body. Very rarely wil lthe mother survive, but they are left weak and fragile for the rest of their life.


Werwolves, on the other hand, are a reccessive gene and it takes both parents carrying the gene before a werewolf child will be born. Even then, the child may come out to be "normal". There are no known side effects on the mother, though it is thought that there is a 25% chance of a miscarriage if the baby will be a werewolf when born.

The other, easier way to make a vampire or werewolf is through being bitten. Vampire bites will rarely make another vampire, 2% chance, but for werewolves it is much easier with a 30% chance of becoming a werewolf.
