But, in an unexpected turn of events, all eyes are on Uniondale, N.Y., as the Nassau Coliseum is now the focus of an intense bidding war, with four viable partnerships making a run at this potentially lucrative market. The stakes are high, the competition fierce, and underlying stories are many. At stake is one of the most valuable pieces of business up for grabs in recent years.

Anyone catch Brodeur's comments after the game - I'm paraphrasing, going from memory.... During interview with Pierre McGuire, Marty specifically called out:
- great team past few years, but not having success they wanted post season
- commitment of Lou L. to improving the team, trying to get better every year
- playing in the new building, excitement level ("the rock was really rocking")

How refreshing....
