It's time for him to speak to the fanbase and address WTF is going on.
NOT PROMOTE China, Project Hope, LH Real Estate, whine about TOH etc... But address the fans of the NY islanders and their concerns like the gall of this team to raise tix prices while changing benefits and imposing 3 year re-up's. How about addressing Rick DiPietro? Yeah we know it's status quo, again, yet again. We don't want t hear that "this is common with what he's been through..." What about us??? The fans? What have we been through? Do you even care? We are onboard with the REBUILD, many fans have taken time off work to support your LH propaganda and some refrain from even uttering a PEEP about your ineptitude for fear their credentials will be taken away. I applaud Chris Botta yesterday for coming out and showing his frustrations with Snow, but we ALL know it goes BEYOND Snow. It goes RIGHT up to the big bastid, THATS YOU CHARLES WANG. If the SAP button on my TV was a direct link to a shock collar around your neck, I'd have worn it out by now. Address the fans and their concerns but since we know you're just a business man, please allow your employees to do so. You owe it to this fan base. Shut them out and you risk losing alot. Please take the time to watch a clip of Brian Burke addressing Toronto media and their fans. Inept or not, the man stood tehre and gave them everything they wanted. THAT'S how it should be done in the hockey world. I don't care that they're TORONTO and we're LONG ISLAND. If you're going to make fans PAY premiums for every friggen thing then you OWE it to the fans who've loyally supported you and your causes. WAKE UP.  --------------------    Showing zero tolerance for koolaiders and SnoWang apologists since 2007. This lifelong Islanders fan is sick and tired of pointing out the obvious to the oblivious. I long for the day when I can show up to Charles Wang's wake with a shovel and patiently wait for everyone to pay their respects so I can pay mine by burying the bastid. |

3 year re-ups for season tix, paid in full...otherwise, if you choose to pay in installments....unlike the past where there was no additional fees..you now have to pay interest. slight increase in tix prices. -------------------- Showing zero tolerance for koolaiders and SnoWang apologists since 2007. Depot...........its obvious the man doesn't care about Isles fans. Of which case you should ask yourself......."Why should I re-up with this dysfunctional franchise?" People if they're not happy should say no...........just like they would with any other service or product. |

Well after 10 years of being a STH I think they have finally pushed me to my limit. The last 2 years I've waited till after July 1st to re-new because of the direction of this franchise but this time not only will I wait but I might just go in with my seat neighbors and the 4 of us will split 2 seats for a season.

When the hell does it start? 26th, then 31st, we will fall somewhere between those two by the end of this year. Another top 5 pick is not going to make the fans happy, we want a team that we can be proud to root for. We need veteran leadership for the "kids", who are not as young as they used to be. Doug Weight is not the answer, especially not for next year. There are vets in this league who are in their 20's or early 30's, and we need one or two more of them. Garth may have said he had the green light earlier in the season, but I doubt it. We are still the laughingstock of the league. Show some pride in your ownership of the Islanders! -------------------- It's not like we're getting killed out there every night...

No way am I paying interest on installments. It's the only way I can purchase them now and if they want my money they can have it over time as I earn it WITHOUT INTEREST. If that's not acceptable to them, then I guess it's family fun packs when we feel like it.

I still cant get over the gall of them charging interest...Sure, season tickets are a luxury..its not a right..but the fans who are paying to go to the games deserve to be treated with some decency and respect.. For Gods sakes if it wasn't for us..there would be no freaking fans..WE ARE THE LOYAL FANBASE.

You know what REALLY sucks? We went from the draft party to opening night feeling good about this franchise for the first time in a long time. Hell, we even made some hay through the mid point of the season and were not only in the race, we were in the thick of it.
And now our world sucks again. We won't make the playoffs, we did not make a move, they're raising prices and it looks like we have no shot at a new arena. Mass confusion. And if Charles Wang is truly the owner and seer of this organization, then stand and deliver. TALK TO US OR RISK LOSING US FOREVER. When I read Nick's post saying he'll go from STH to family packs you have to wonder. We have a fragile fan base as it is. How much sh!t are we supposed to take before we all start leaving? -------------------- THE RIFLE

I don't wanna hear from Cholly. Everytime he opens his mouth he makes things worse. He's the GW Bush of owners and can't communicate. His last TV interview with Howie and his embarrassing chat with Francessa after NYI got the #1 pick and he said he regrets buying the team. Enough. He has no answers anyway. (Only about real estate.) His main employees are clueless (Dey) and a puppet (Snow). I don't wanna hear their BS either. Why is everyone complaining? We're a few points out of a playoff spot and a few points away from a high draft pick. Plenty of excitement on the way for us at NVMC.
