But, in an unexpected turn of events, all eyes are on Uniondale, N.Y., as the Nassau Coliseum is now the focus of an intense bidding war, with four viable partnerships making a run at this potentially lucrative market. The stakes are high, the competition fierce, and underlying stories are many. At stake is one of the most valuable pieces of business up for grabs in recent years.

Milbury was a horrible GM AND coach on LI.  The record speaks for itself.

If you wanted a clown and circus to represent your organization, then this was your guy.

It's been a circus since '95, just with different acts and ringleaders. If this goes on any longer we'll give Barnum and Bailey a run for their money, only our motto is "The Worst Show on Earth".

I totally agree Webby........the franchise sadly is a total joke.

And you wonder if things will ever really get better.

It will get better only if Wang sells. I wrote in the Wang thread we have the chance if Nassau takes it upon themselves to build a new arena and offers Wang only a lease to play there, not manage the coliseum. Owned by the County and operations leased to a management company like it use to be(but a better contract for the team), then the NHL wouldn't let Wang move the team, and he wouldn't want to stay the owner and would sell if there were no land development rights.

Just not happening.
