Gordon must go!, Who should be the coach?

Gordon had to do an interview immediately following the loss to the Wild. Tough place to be, make no mistake. This is usually when you see the meltdowns, the stuff that's gets said that should be kept in the room and in some cases it has been the downfall of coaches in every sport.

I give him credit. While he was short with his answers and visibly pissed off at the outcome, he kept his cool. My bet is he let them have it when he finally addressed the poor clear and the D leaving the zone too early.

What I liked was that he was ticked, he hates losing and he has a level of expectation for this team that is clear. And when they don't do what they have been taught he lets them know about it. This guy gets it.

Signs of a good coach.

For Gordon supporters. Keep an eye on hiw our team fares against a physical team in Toronto and again against Philly in the next game.

While we're at it. WE begin 4 games in 6 nights tonight, ending it with games against the Pens and Devs. 4 conference games, latter 3 vs divisional rivals.

What's in our favor is some of the teams have key injuries. Leafs/Pens.
I just want to see them not get beat up over the next 2 games.

I agree----the next stretch of teams will be a test. Anything less than a 'W' tonight is unacceptable. I won't be satisfied with a shootout loss to the Leafs, the league's worst team.

If we can play 500 from tonight through saturday, that will be an accomplishment.

we lost to minny, but we by no means got manhandled. we certainly played well enough to win that one. The blues game not so much.

Oh contrair...Minnesota out hit us all up and down the ice. Clusterf*<k, Nolan and others were taking runs at us all night and no one stepped up to stop it. Same think in STL. You watch those games and see who was throwing more hits, bigger hits and by half way through each game, who was winning ALL the physical battles in the corners and in front. It wasnt us. Just because the score in Minn was close doesn't mean we didn't perform like Glass Joe in the final 2 periods.
