I like it. But what's with the ribbon? Are we having Pabst Blue Ribbon as a sponsor on the jerseys like how soccer jerseys do?

I think the Islanders are including it as a tribute to LEDZEP's blue ribbon that he includes with every link he posts.

THe orange on the sleeves and the white shoulder border is a nice touch of something new without being overly loud. Orange laces are waaay cool. In Garth I Trust Group: Members Posts: 6,006 Member No.: 595 Joined: 2-March 07	I don't like the numbers on the front. The logo is the only thing that should be on the front. Putting numbers begins to make it look like a billboard. I don't like the little white trim around the shoulders that goes across the chest. I don't like the orange around the biceps. It is enough change to the jersey to make it look bad. I actually would mind those changes less if they made the jersey royal blue. At least then I'd feel like they did one change correctly. Haven't we learned that change for the sake of change is not a good thing? We've had different unis now in our 35 years of existance. Which ones do we like best??? The 72-90 jersey for sure. -------------------- I miss these and want more of them
