As I've said many times I've given up my tickets for the foreseeable future. However, if there is anyone here who still has a full season package (not sure who does), and if you just can't help yourself and have to continue paying for full seasons, do NOT feel pressured to meet their deadlines!!!! They are 100% full of sh!t. Last offseason they wanted the money in early as well. Then they set a new deadline that was BEFORE July 1. As I kept telling my rep, we'll see what happens July 1. Even after July 1, you'll still be able to get your seats. But, I'd suggest holding them accountable for being scum. -------------------- NY Islanders Hockey: Proud of the Orange and Blue

I've made a decision to no longer waste my time and emotions on this team. They're simply not worth it.
I'll continue to root from a distance but I no longer get wrapped up in their day to day circus. Its a friggin disgrace. |

I haven't spent one dime on Charles Wang since 2001 and I feel GREAT about it. Makes watching hockey THAT MUCH BETTER!!!
I urge everyone to not spend on ****ty service or products. If you want to spend that much money for guaranteed garbage, buy a Chevy Volt. There are families you can feed if they even make the POS still. I think they stopped, or hope they did. HEY! How about watching it on TV and using the ticket money on your retirement? $3k a year for 30 years at 8%? That is the unfortunate part that no sensible human being can avoid. The tix reps are just earning a living. They are not to blame. Just following orders. It's sad, isn't it? I'm grateful I had a chance to watch the early years, be there at the games when the fans cheered for minutes after each goal. Then the success. I carry this with me as much as I can. Wang has destroyed any hope. |
