I thought the Jets moved to Phoenix ?

Hmmm, I'm going out on whim here....and say that the Jets will beat the colts 35-33...Sanchez leads the team down the field for a last minute fg...uh, he has to do that, because it was his interception that allowed the colts to go ahead.

Mark Sanchez matures during this game.

Now onto the Islanders...no ranger hangover here...with marty in the net, Isles win 3-1..kyle continues with the helpers.

It will be another....Kyle O party

#19Trotts - December 27, 2009 06:02 PM (GMT)
Philly "pulled an Islanders" in their last game when they blew a 3-goal lead over the Canes in the last 10 minutes. So even if we'll be down a couple in the end I'll keep the faith. ;)

ronski631 - December 27, 2009 06:16 PM (GMT)
Biron in net.

God help us :bag:

Biron in net makes me sad. He's so lazy.

CANADA - December 27, 2009 06:45 PM (GMT)
Is Biron in for sure ?

Webb20 - December 27, 2009 06:48 PM (GMT)
Biron is due to have a good game and get goal support from his team.

:fingerscrossed:

oldislesfan - December 27, 2009 09:38 PM (GMT)

Well maybe if they score more than one goal Biron will have a chance to win.

The "http://www.atdhe.net/watchtv.html" doesn't seem to have games any more.

Out on the West Coast right now. Anybody know if there is another live feed online the DOESN'T require taking some stupid quiz just to access a web site? :dontknow:

It could have started better for Biron. :(

It could have started better for Biron. :(

4 shots on him in the first 2 minutes. NOt the start I was hoping for, but the one I feared after the win yesterday. Good to se them have a good 2 bounceback shifts immediately following that goal.

If sutton is going to step up like that, he better finish the hit. And Biron needs to stop clinging to his goalline like it is a life preserver. Take away the angle Marty.

If Hillen and Big Andy can keep playing the way they did last night, I'm not going to think too much about who's between the pipes tonight. I really feel like they both had pretty good games yesterday. Would be nice to see if a JT-KO-Bailey line gets any decent amount of ice time in this game. Nielsen hasn't gone un-noticed recently either but I'd really like to see #91 in that mix.

#19Trotts - December 27, 2009 11:29 PM (GMT)
Bad decision by Hillen :(

Well, it's not working for me either now. It seems a bit unreliable.

They're gonna give this a review and I'm surprised they actually reversed the call on the ice.... NO GOAL!!!

No goal

stoutofheart - December 28, 2009 12:03 AM (GMT)
The Isles need to take this as a sign. They need to tell themselves that this is the turning point for this game. They need to come out strong and take the play to the Phylers. This is their best chance, right now.

stoutofheart - December 28, 2009 12:06 AM (GMT)
Glad Trent is okay. Pronger is a cheap jerk! I hope they do something with this PP!

I hate you on this team, Mr. Biron!!!

Scott Gordon just doesn't put the Biron = Loss puzzle together. He claims that Biron's only faced tough teams.

Maybe he could try not to do that? Nah, just keep crying "It's a young team."

????? Biron let up 2 goals. This isn't on the goalie. We had no sustained forecheck, no sustained pressure on the Flyers goalie and spent multiple sucessive shifts in our own zone.

While Biron hasn't been brilliant in this one and looked like a rusty goalie on the first goal, you don't win scoring one goal against a guy who was just released by CAROLINA.

You can't blame Biron for us losing what is it...14 straight to the Flyers? The Flyers are the most talented team with no strong goaltending in the league and we scored once. That is why we lost.

Dark Helmet - December 28, 2009 01:10 AM (GMT)
You can read between the lines from Gordon's press conference. He knows the effort is there but they just don't have the supporting cast to get it done.

Another one of those "we don't have the horses" deals. And if they don't come at the trade deadline this season, you know they're not coming on July 1.

Enjoy the bright spots this year because we will improve every year up until we get to where we want to be.

As Gordon alluded to,

"We don't have the players to make space for our skill guys"

When we start outshooting the opposition consistently, you will begin to see more wins.
