Anima Scura smirked as she loped around effortlessly. Her large hind-quarters propelling her red grulla pelted body forward quickly. She swung and nipped at her yearling daughter sharply. "Anima Pallida behave yourself." She said curtly as she slid to a stop plowing up the grounds. She glared sharply at her grulla daughter. She lowered her head and ripped at the grass greedily. The way she thought of it she was the Queen of all of the Horses. She smirked slightly. She had never lost a fight, even when she had been close to foaling her only daughter. She smirked arrogantly. She was proud, fiesty and had such a temper that many others had simply run hearing the name of Anima Scura. Many didn't even know the meaning of her name. Dark Blood, oh how it suited her just pefectly. Just as Anima Pallida suited her daughter. Pale Blood, for a pale almost dun grulla.
Anima Pallida snarled slightly as she kept pace with her dam. She reached over and nipped her dam's neck smartly. She continued on a little before turning and slowing to a graceful trot and then slowly to a stop. "Getting tired, old mare." She said taunting her dam boldly. She stopped at the glare knowing if she taunted her dam anymore she was in for a beating. She slung her head a little as she walked a ways away and dropped her head and started to graze noisily trying to annoy her dam as much as possible. She kicked at the ground slightly trying to get rid of the pests that were circling her pelt. She sighed and wandered a little bit to explore by herself. She had nothing to fear. She was feared in her own right. |

Quartz walked around thinking about nothing. Her life is and always has been useless. She has always been pushed around, and told what to do. She sighed, and walked into an open area. She saw a mare with a foal eating. She just looked down, and grazed at the edge of the opening. She didn't want to talk but she will if addressed. She kept her ears alert at all times. |

Scura snorted slightly and gazed around eyeing the other mare calmly. She shrugged slightly and reached over and pulled at her filly's tail sharply. She shoulder her filly out of the way and walked towards the mare calmly. "Hello, I am Anima Scura, what's your name?" She asked simply. She glared at her filly slightly.
Pallida snorted and smirked lifting her head and heading towards the mare. She squealed in surprise at the sharp tug on her tail. She stopped and sulked behind her dam and started to graze again at the glare from her dam. |

Quartz heard the mare approch and speak to her. She lifted her head, and looked at her and her filly. She smiled lightly and said, Hello Anima Scura. I am Quartz. She felt a drop of water hit her, and she looked up. The clouds where moving in, but it wasn't pouring...yet.

Anima Scura looked up calmly when the mare did. She shrugged slightly. She didn't mind the rain really. It was quite refreshing. She looked at the mare calmly wondering about her. She really would have prefered the company of a stallion but she guessed this was alright for now. She stomped on the ground in boredom and swung her head to look back at her daughter calmly.
Anima Pallida continued to graze and looked up sharply sensing that her dam was watching her. She continued to chew the grass nonchalantly. She shifted her stance standing still. |
