I have an idea for an RPG we could do. It would basically be like Left 4 Dead, except a bit more interactive (I'm not sure if that's the best word to describe it, whatever).

Anyway, the thing would take place in a specific location or city (like NYC, Cleveland, London, etc.) and the survivors start in areas spread out around the city. They can either try to meet up and work together, try and survive alone, or be an asshole and fight both the zombies or their fellow survivors.

While they're in the city/location, they'll encounter infected that are controlled by the GM (he/she'll essentially be 'The Director'). Also, we could have some players be special infected. Also, the GM can choose where weapons, health, equipment, etc. will spawn on the 'map'.

Anyway, there will be safe rooms located throughout the city, and there will also be one or more evac points where survivors can try to escape via a boat, or a helicopter, or a car, etc.

For the game, we could have someone make a grid of the city, showing what areas are accessible and stuff like that.

So, what do you guys think, do you think this is a good idea?
Also, would you play in it?
