ok i made the story i promised i would. please try to comment as much as possible ill be on vent later tonight if u guys want to talk about it

In June of 2009 a large meteor shower was scheduled to pass close to Earth and be a sightseeing wonder but due to complications in the astronomers equipment the distance was calculated wrong and the meteors came down upon the world. Although it was not known to many, other than the government, it carried a harmless virus that would simply carry from host to host through any who shared saliva, blood, and/or contact with an open wound, This virus was classified as Sumaria. After studying this virus the government decided that it was harmless and there for there was no reason to create an antidote, so by the year 2010 about 99.8% of the human population had this virus along with 88% of animals. In April of 2010 another meteorite shower hit earth, this time it carried another virus quite different then the last but they seemed to react in a strange way with each other. This new virus was different then Sumaria in many ways but the most prominent of these are that the new virus was air born; this virus was classified as Suman. When Sumaria and Suman were combined they caused the host to exhibit some symptoms.

The timetable below outlines the process of an infected human (give or take several hours, depending on the individual).

Hour 1: Pain and discoloration (brown-purple) of the infected area. Immediate clotting of the wound (provided the infection came from a wound).

Hour 5: Fever (99-103 degrees F), chills, slight dementia, vomiting, acute pain in the joints.

Hour 8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever (103-106 degrees F), increased dementia, loss of muscular coordination.

Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slowed heart rate.

Hour 16: Coma.

Hour 20: Heart stoppage. Zero brain activity.

Hour 23: Reanimation.

Because of the fact that most of everyone had Sumaria, when Suman became a worldwide virus the world became a horror story. Heavily populated areas became places of distraught and for the .02% of the population that didn’t catch Sumaria every day was a battle fighting the zombie apocalypse.

I thought we were working on doing Left 4 Dead?

i thought we went over that it should be a zombie apocolips thing that the gameplay was like left 4 dead

The thing that made L4D work was that it was a rabies-like virus. Going from this plot, only people who are totally disconnected from the rest of the world who would survive.

With L4D, it was dependant on genes who would be immune, so who the survivors would be would be more random.

i don't relay care i just thought we would want to be original with this but feel free to change anything for the good of the game

I'm trying to write out good explination through the rabies route. I've visited som sites and it seems the most likely candidate.

ok well idk i think we can do this (as a side rpg of course) but like my story i think we need a good story and explanation then we can make things like locations / weapons / characters / special zombies, and what not .

I'm slowly but surely crafting a backstory. I'm trying to be vague, but give enough detail to make this plausable. I'm taking most of it from L4D, but I'll need help coming up with special infected.

Just give me ideas and I'll draw them.

lets try to make this not to much like L4D but a generic idea is good........ due to the fact that we don't really want to much player v player lets have select admins play special zombies.

for ideas i have

1. shadow phasers: they are zombies who phase in between the shadows and the light making them only able to be seen at some time as a shadow on the floor or a bright light

2. Regenerater: heals very quickly and must be burned to be killed

3. Animal Zombies : like a bear or dog...... or bunny

Zombie Lawyers are needed. They were actually in Resident Evil, so they are legit zombie types.

And... The Regenorator I can do, but anything that deals with 'powers' of any kind are out, unless you want me to add in the story about them nuking cities.
