What are we?
We're an online, play by post role playing forum, catering to Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Fandom Role playing.

Who are we?
This forum is run by 3 people.
Rogue, the owner.
Dragontamer, the co-owner.
Anubis, the other co-owner
All three of us are aspiring writers with a penchant for not spellchecking. This bugs me to no end, but whatever.

How do I role play?
It's simple. It's like writing a story. Each person creates their own characters (with some of us having over 60 playing characters at one time!), and controls their own characters within a given environment. It's like dungeons and dragons but without dice.

What are the rules?
They are simple.
1) No godmoding. This means don't control other peoples characters (unless given permission.), don't make your characters too powerful, and don't interject where it's not feasibly possible (I.E. Your character is popping back and forth between one area and another.)
It has come to my attention that this has gone WAY TO FAR. As of today (February 12, 2009) Godmoding now encompasses the following:
-Throwing in plot twists that make no sense, or have not been Okayed by the creator of the RP.
- Throwing in plot twist after plot twist, so that no one knows what the gol of the story was anymore.
- Taking control of someone elses character.
- Making your characters too powerful. Characters CAN die. Arms CAN get chewed off.


2) SPELLCHECK. GRAMMAR CHECK. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT. If I cannot read your post becuase it is block text, it WILL BE IGNORED. A few typos here and there are no big deal. Block text with no punctuation is a big deal.

3) Be respectful. Anyone can create an RP (We prefer it if you have 10 posts in any areas), but only the RP owner may make executive decisions. These include plot twists, the adding of characters, and other things that may change the plot.

4) When entering an existing RP, look for a decent opening. (I.E. Characters are resting for the night, have just docked after a long voyage, or are driving down the interstate and you need a ride.). Don;t just automatically assume you have been there the whole time.

5) When creating an RP, please post in the OOC section a thread containing the following information -
The Idea
The Plot
The direction you want it to go in
The sign up info

That's it! One more thing. If, after 2 months of membership, you have made less then 25 posts, your account will be deleted. Simple, right? of course! So what are you waiting for? Go, click the register button, and then introduce yourself! Peruse the RPs, and then join one!
