Attention citizens of Metropolis City, a new danger has appeared in the busy urban setting! Over the course of many years, it has been noticed that human beings with supernatural talents and powers have become more and more prominent in modern society. These gifted human beings and superhuman beings have demonstrated what they are capable of doing by protecting the streets of the busiest urban settings across the face of North America, but many have also used their natural powers for greater evil and acts of mischief. The police force and department of domestic security has tried on numerous occasions to subdue these dangerous superhuman beings but have always failed due to the difference in firepower and capability, but now, the government has discovered a way to fight back against these supernatural characters.
The method used to fight human beings with supernatural powers involves excessive force in the shape of ten story-tall metal giants that tower over the cities in which they rampage in. Unfortunately, something has gone terribly wrong and now, these gargantuan titans wreck havoc uncontrollably across Metropolis City, Gotham City, Keystone City, and even in places as far away as Star City. The metal giants possess near-impenetrable hide, nigh-unmatchable physical strength, and an arsenal of weapons that render even the military powerless against its powers. This is the time for superheroes to shine: with such an immense danger on the loose, superhuman beings are needed now more than ever, but they are not the only ones scheduled to make an appearance; it is also the perfect opportunity for mischievous characters to further the havoc.
Now, it is up to you as the player. Which road will your character travel now? The one which leads to praise by the public, or will you walk the dark path and bask in the glory of infamy?
Whichever decision you make, the game begins now!
This event will commence on October 28, 2009 and will be an on-going event over the course of November.
