I Watched You Change is a brand new vampire board that is in no way affiliated with the Twilight series. It is a completely original idea and a very exciting place to play! We have a main plot that involves everyone and a 'make-your-own subplot' category which will have posted subplots that you make up on your own! general appearance:
tanner looks just like any other eighteen your old boy you might see on the street. well, at least to a point. he wears the bed head hair style that many boys wear, along with fashioning a bit of peach fuzz that really isn’t even visible, but when compared to the average male his age that’s just about where the similarities end. he has a style of his own which incorporates anything and everything from vintage shirts and pinstriped shorts to girly chokers and mittens. if you ever see his face light up with his shy little smile and vibrant eyes shining, you can tell that he has strayed a bit from the average.
while he might seem to carry himself in a way that portrays him to be a depressed teen he majority of the time (such as walking slowly with his shoulders slightly hunched, eyes looking at the ground, etc), don't let that fool you. anything as little as a fleck of glitter can send him into a joyous mood, face glowing like that of a little child's, matching the look in his big, round eyes. he may have the build of a man, with muscles and jaw line to prove it, but he is really just a young boy inside. rarely does the child show, but when he does there is something mesmerizing and people can't help but smile. that's just how tanner is.

over-all personality:
what is a word that describes tanner brandt? demure, that is probably a good word. how about another one? alluring. another? buoyant. all of those three words describe him, yet at the same time, they don't. the boy has so many conflicting words that could describe him that you might think he has adverse personalities. well, in a manner of speaking, he does.
personality number one: the shy young man
this is the persona that tanner falls into most often. if you meet him, this is who he will be. if you bump into him, this is who he will be. even if you were the best of friends and then ran into him five years later, this is who he would be. falling back on his coy manner, he usually will only talk if talked to and doesn't share often. this is most likely the reason why people think he is a snob and he doesn't make friends often. they just don't take the time to get to know tanner in his relaxed manner.
personality number two: the joyous little boy
this is the side of tanner that escapes the young adult looking male when he is happy and/or pleased. anything as little as a flower or a kind smile from the right person, can release this little rascal. when he is in this mood, he tends to be rather childish. not in a bad way, but in the sense that children are easily pleased and are generally, goofily cheerful. when you see this side of him, you can't help but smile.
personality number three: the angst filled teen
this shade of mr. brandt rarely comes out, but does show his face every once in a while. whenever tanner feels utterly alone or the pressures of life just build up on him, he does take a little bit of slide downhill and fall into a rut. usually, this phase doesn't last very long, but depending on the circumstances, it can last a good while. during these periods, he acts like the depressed loner that everyone already thinks he is.
personality number four: the seductive enigma
this is the personality of tanner charles brandt that only a few lucky people have seen. occasionally, tanner will get the urge to drink a bit, and boy oh boy does it had an effect on him. his entire being seems to flip inside out and suddenly, he is a bold, confident, sexy stranger who no one can take their eyes off of. he is the entire opposite of his shy self. he is charming, straight forward, and can entice anyone to do anything. those who see this amazing beast will be shocked by the transformation.

over-all history:
for tanner charles brandt, his young childhood was a respectively dull one. growing up in the little medieval town of londonderry, there wasn’t much to do. with both of his parents out of the picture because of their military jobs, he was left to live with his old fashioned, anti-electronics great aunt. his boyhood was filled with adult political radio shows, gardening, and toys that were made a good forty years before he was born. least to say, life wasn't that exciting.
up until he started school, his daily routines consisted of eating, studying for when he did start school, and napping. once he actually entered the education system, his teacher was shocked to learn that he already contained the knowledge that he was to learn in the course of the next four years. they skipped him ahead, therefor insuring his social failure. his classmates teased him for being a brainiac because of advancing a few grades and it took it's toll on his already shy nature, resulting in his "shy young man" personality. once again, life continued on, dull and now lonely as ever.
at the age of sixteen, tanner discovered a wonderful art: the art of sneaking out. knowledge. while his first experience was a rather sour one (a boy he thought was a friend convinced him to meet him somewhere at midnight, only to play a horrible prank on him), it opened him up to a bright new world. with michelle's fading hearing and her habit of never giving the boy any privacy, sneaking out became his new favorite pass time. whenever he snuck out, he would simply go to the towns encompassing wall, climb it, and lay there for hours. it was the most fabulous thing he had ever discovered in his little life time.
when he turned seventeen, another moment worth remembering rolled around: someone joined his tiny, nearly nonexistent social circle. normally, meeting a new person wouldn't be a reason to celebrate and rejoice, but considering that his social circle consisted only of his great aunt and his cat, it was a fabulous occasion. her name was alexandera, coming to care for michelle when tanner was away working.
