"Crazy squirrels," says the Blacksmith.

Damien stands up from the pile of acorns thrown at him. Your town seems to have way to many acorns. Crazy rodents! Thank you for the cauldern and we will be on our way. Damien then picks up the cauldron. Well lets pick go find those fairy and get off this island. Damien then carries it down to the place where the portal was. So now what?

((OOG: who said a portal opened up? Team Nathan has to wwait fora fairy to fly who knows how far to find Duhlainn.))

The mayor strode up to the team. "If your done playing with squirrels, would you mind helping me out with something more? I need a letter delivered to Jinbler MoDrow. He lives in a tower a bit of the way up the hill. I'd give you 20 gold to do so."

And another acorn bonked off Damien's head.

"I do it!" Trystan jumped up with her hand extended in the air. On the way, her hand happened to clip Damien's jaw. "I good at stuff and things! Right Rin-Rin?" she looked over a Rin, still smiling and giggling and just being plain giddy.

"Ah, well. She's a ripe one now isn't she? Lass, yer too young to go by yonself.". He gave a little chuckle.

Maurice zoomed out of the backpack. His face was contorted to look like a squirrel. "She's not alone. I'll go wit' 'er!"

The mayor stepped back, not sure whether he should more freaked out by a ghost or a ghost with a squirrel's face.

"Yeah Mr. Mayor-man! Maurice will go wit me!!!!" She put her hands on her hips and stood firmly in front of the mayor. "Pwease, I know I can do it. I know I can!"

Rin looks down and smiles Yes you are sweetie. She patted Trystan's head and wrapped an arm around her. Then she looked up at the mayor Ill go with her also, she'll be safe with me, Damien stay here and wait for the fairy. She glanced over at Damien to make sure he wasnt getting into anymore trouble. She addressed the mayor once more. so you said you had a letter for us to deliver? Where would this tower be exactly and who is this......who did you say we were supposed to deliver it to?

"Jinbler MoDrow. Hes a wacky elf, all dark skin, white hair. No one knows much about 'im. Bit of a recluse. Some say he sacrifices puppies and wooly bear caterpillars todark powers and that he hobnobs with ghost. All rubbish I tell ya."

Maurice scratched his gooey head. "all what now?"

The mayor gave directions. Along a wooded path up to a mountain trail that follows a knife-edge spur. The tower sits on a jut of rock over a steep cliff.

Damien turns to see Rin remembering their last conversation. I thought I wasn't part of the team any more and for fact being they if they found is last time they will find us again. Also everytime we spilt up we either all get captured or end up with our minds almost scrambled. So I think I am going. Damien walks with them to finish the task at hand. When this is over I am finding a island and leave myself their to die.

Rin rolled her eyes at Damien, but he had a point I hate him she thought. She exhaled loudly,it was almost a sigh. Fine! Damien You can come!Even though she had agreed, she wasn't thrilled at the decision. She looked at the cliff and reflexively clutched Trystan closer, then turned back to the Mayor. ok we'll do it, do you have the letter? she put emphasis on the we'll.

The mayor hands Tristan a small packet or parchment, folded into a square with a don of wax pressed at the folds. He pats her on the head. He waves goodbye.

The trail was smooth and shaded. But after a short distance, the trail became narrower and the vegetation denser and thicker. The light dimmed in the forest as the woods became nearly impenetrable.

A twig snaps directly behind them. Hey spin and see a goblin slink stepping on a small twig. "Snargg it!" He reaches into a pouch and hurles a glass vial at Damien who was in the rear ((gas globe paranoia)).

Damien feels the vial hit him and he feels nothing do to he has no fear. He then turns to the goblin with his hand glow black just like the pendant. Big Mistake! Death! Damien hand then fire a blast of chaos aimed the goblin. I hope he still pays for dead goblins. he then walks up and cuts the ears off the goblin. Create Undead! he then shoots a aura of chaos around the body and it comes back to life. Protect us! Follow me! The dead goblin should obey and follows them up the path. This is going to end well.

Another gas globe sails through the thickets toward Damien ((gg sleep)) from the other side of the trail. A third flies toward Rin (( gg sleep)). An arrow wings it's way toward Damien ((acid coating)).

A voice somewhere shout "I call forth a fire cage!" the voice is low and guttural with the heavy voice of a goblin. Fire swirls up and around Tristan, forming a cage.

Trystan hides the letter under her tunic and begins to panic. Rin and Damien are both asleep and some weird guy is talking to her. So she screams and continues up the path at a break leg speed.

((OOG: isn't it hard for trystan to run when she's trapped in a fire cage?))

Damien moves out of the way from the vial, takes the arrow to his arm. He then takes out his key of awakening and puts it to Rin. Wake up Runt! We've got some goblins to kill. Damien then turns to his undead slave. Attack the goblins! The dead goblin then runs off straight towards the enemy goblins trying to kill them. Damien then runs off towards the goblins. Scanning for the little rats. Where are they?

((oog: t'is very hard, I never mentioned she got far!))

Damien finds the woods thick and difficult to maeuver. Vines clutch at hiss and small scrubby trees bar his every move. "I call forth an ice cage!" the voice comes from the trees, up in the trees.

Tristan hears a voice. "Where's the other one? Master said the other one would be here!". It was those goblin voices again.

A cage forms around him? Ha try again! Damien tattoo glows blue and he moves through the cage like it was nothing OOG elemental tattoo ice. Come down here or better yet I will go to you Damien shoot his rope at the top off the tree, he aimes for top branch or a goblin hiding in the tree. Damien then starts to pull on the rope. Where are you?

Damien's rope tangles in the dense foliage. An ice shard flies toward Damien as a blue goblin leaps from the trees. It's much like a fire or lightening goblin, but clearly of ice. And it seems bigger and more powerful. It flings a second blast of ice shards at him.



The voice near Tristan speaks again but in an unintelligible language somewhere in the undergrowth. The voice seem more frantic. "Spread out! Find the other one! Master says not to kill these ones!"

The ice shards go flying through his body due to the tattatoo. He then laughs at the goblin. My Turn! Web! Web! His hands shoots out huge strings of web aimed at the goblin. Salient then took out his sword and swing it hard at the goblins chest. OOG eviserate. He then jumps right back into a fighting.

A goblin tumbles to the ground, wrapped in a web. Another finds itself cut in twain. That must hurt.

Five goblins spread out, surrounding Damian. Then a golbin shouts, "Back off. They ain't the ones the boss wants dead."

And all the goblins disappear into the woods, leaving Trystan in a fire cage, Rin waking up, and Damien a might bit dumbfounded.

Trystan sits pathetically in the fire cage, not crying or whimpering just sitting. "Rin-Rin! Damien!" she called out to her traveling companions. "Help! I'm stuck!"
