New rules in orange.Here are the rules of the board: - No Slytherin characters. As there are a lot. But we always need Ravenclaws!
- No God-Modding. This means that you cannot control another person’s character.
Ex: John strode into the room, slamming the door behind him and grabbing Marry by the wrist. Pulling her into a kiss, he dipped her low. Marry kissed back, but hit him all the same.
This is God-Modding, as it is all in the same post. A good post would be something like this:
John strode into the room, slamming the door behind him and reaching out for Marry. He wanted to kiss her, sweep her off her feet, but first he had to catch her.
This is good, because then it gives the chance for the character to refuse to be caught. - Chatspeak will not be tolerated in OR out of character. It's just tacky and makes the board look bad.
- Don’t make a huge amount of characters. We all get character ideas, and want characters for a plot. But please limit yourself to characters you know you can play, and can keep active.
- Unless granted Admin permission, please have no more than two (2) cannon characters at any one time.

- We will allow this site to be as dark as you want it to be. Characters can be evil, can have horrid lives. All I ask is that you put a warning somewhere I your posts. Either in the description, or in big words at the top. For those, font size 7, and color red please.
- If you wish to have your characters have intercourse, please contact an admin before doing so. That way, we can move/make a thread that is protected for you so younger members do not stumble across it.
- Any creature can be played, and any hybrid as well. But make it believable. Someone cannot be part dragon, or part merr-person/part centaur.
- See the word alone up there? We’ll ask for it later, as in a password. Also, go look in Cannon Character list for another word, which will be needed on the application.
- Your screen name must be your character name! One character per account!
- Avatars can be no more than 100X100. If they are, the board will automatically re-size it for you.
- In addition, signatures can be no more that 1,000 characters. And 550X200. Please.
- Please refrain from using words like “retard” “gay” or other kind of slurs that might be offensive. This goes for in character, as well as out of character. However, a character can be gay, so long as the title is not used to offend.
- When a thread has been finished, someone, I do not care who, needs to post in big red letters that the role playing has come to an end in the topic. Also, you need to PM Maxwell Sigmon so that it may be moved to Archives.
- If a thread is not finished, but has not been posted in in two (2) months, it will be moved to archives. If you wish to finish it, please PM Maxwell Sigmon.
- We now have a post requirement. We haven’t had any posts that worry me about length; so far they have been okay. But it still needs to be added. Please, have at least two paragraphs. No one liners. If you want to have two paragraphs clarified, please PM Maxwell Sigmon.
- Check often for updates.
