After that lasy feeding, he felt horrible. there was someting in that animal that was not supposed to be there. he knew he tasted silver in it's blood. but how? As soon as the animal fell from his lips, Dante felt the sensation to fall to the ground. It was a horrible feeling. How could this small fox have any kind of metal in its blood? Unless it was poinsoned on purpose for him.

He hadn't noticed until just now that the fox was out in the open. Even after sensing him, the animal did not run. it was a trap, it had to be. Only Dante was to hungry at the moment to see it then. But who would do such a thing? To purposely inject silver into the bloodstream of an animal to harm him! How absurd!

The only person who came to mind was one... BECK MALFOY! She was serious about getting to him! She was dead freaking serious! Dante was disgusted. he couldn't tell Luna, she was angry with him. He couldn't tell Gem, she wouldn't be able to do anything about it and if he told a Professor, the Slytherins would only kill him more. But then what do you do in a situation like this? You sleep. Madam Pomphrey came in with a glass of potion for him to drink. He wasn't how his body would react to this but he downed in one gulp. She fluffed his pillows and skiddered out of the room quickly so he could rest. But Dante could not bring himself to sleep. he stared at the ceiling long and hard. Wondering what he should do next

TEDDY LUPIN

"No, get your hands off of-" Teddy was cut off mid-rant as he was pushed (rather roughly, he thought) into a bed in the Hospital Wing. For such a teeny woman, Madam Pomfrey sure was strong. "I'm not friggin' sick, lady! Your hands are like ice, it's no wonder it feels like I'm hot!"

But Pomfrey was gone and Teddy was left to sulk - arms crossed and everything. As he looked around, though, he noticed another kid who looked like he'd been put through similar pain and anguish at the hands of the Head Nurse.

Grunting as he sat up in his bed, Teddy pulled one leg to his chest and tossed his arm easily around it, resting his chin on his knee. Right now, he wasn't trying to do anything strange with his body - he'd learned that it didn't make the best impression on strangers if you suddenly had a pig nose instead of a human one. All the same, though, the tips of his hair were slowly changing colors - from black to red to green to blue to light blue to gold to back to brown, then repeated. It wasn't like he was trying to - he wasn't even aware of it, to be quite honest.

"So what're you in for?" Teddy asked, cracking his knuckles as he spoke, flexing his fingers. If he ever found out who ratted him out for being sick, they were gonna get a serious beatdown.

Shaking his head at himself, Teddy focused more closely on the other member of the room: he looked like he hadn't had a good sleep in ages, and he looked royally pissed off, like somebody had just spat in his face then denied him a towel or something.

"Yo, dude, you okay?"

Dante stayed in bed for what seemed like hours, his stomach churning with every move of his muscles. Beck really wasn't anyone to toy with but how had she gone this far? It seemed impossible almost. How was her plan formed and what was going through that evil little mind of hers right this moment. Another plot to manage to bind him to this bed? He felt sickened at the thoughts. And Gem, was she safe?

There was movement around the bed next to him. The werepire watched with curious eyes as Madam Pomfrey tugged at yet another victim. She was quite rough with this one, he seemed like he didn't want to be here or something. He was stunned when the Ravenclaw actually spoke to him, and kindly. It was becoming quite a thing with the rest of school. Perhaps they all felt sorry for him that the Slytherins were bashing their own kind. "I think I'll be fi-"

Madam Pomfrey walked over quickly, her tiny steps clicking and clacking against the marble floors. She tugged Dante's curtains around his bed closed and handed him another drink before scuddering away once again. He rolled his eyes and ripped the curtains open again. "isn't there a law or something that prohibits being tortures like this?" he raised his cup and downed it again. The nauseating smell of the potion making his stomach even worse than before. What was he in for? He surely couldn't tell the true reason.. "Think I ate something bad. You?"

He put the glass on his night stand and shifted to face the other student. Was his hair changing colors? Wow... he really was sick. "Your.. hair.. does it always do that?" Dante was very curious about this. it seemed so strange to him , the boy had no wand in his hand. How was he able to perform magic like this? Maybe that's why he was in here, he might have back fired a spell?

TEDDY LUPIN

" Huh? What about my hai-Oh!" Teddy halfway brought a hand to his head, then dropped it again, chuckling. "Yeah, it kinda does. Sorry," He fell silent for a second, focusing on making his hair go back to normal. After noticing that it had, Teddy offered a smile to the other kid, still amused. Teddy had thought that everyone in the whole school knew about both his parents and the special gift he had received at birth.

Judging by the look on the other kid's face..apparently not.

"You look so spooked," Teddy said, a half grin playing on his face. "I guess I can explain," He said, rolling his eyes goodnaturedly, obviously kidding. "My mum's a metamorphagus. So'm I. When I'm not paying attention, things kinda tend to change without my wanting them to," Ted explained, chuckling. "It's actually usually my eyes, but whatever. My dad says that my eyes are actually the windows to the soul 'cause when I'm pissed that's the thing that shows it." Teddy shook his head at himself, mentally kicking himself for rambling (and to a Slytherin, no less). He was quiet for a couple minutes - really, it might've been seconds: Teddy could never stay quiet for long.

"And yes, I think there is a law about it somewhere, but I also think we have to be seventeen for it to work," Teddy chuffed, shaking his head. "The name's Teddy. Teddy Lupin." Teddy had paused for just a fraction of a second before giving out his last name - this kid was Slytherin and Teddy's father was a werewolf. He'd put up with the woofing jokes and the howls through the hallways for going on six years now, but getting made fun of in the hospital? Seriously not cool and not on Teddy's 'What I Want to Do Today' list.

But, he figured that the other kid would figure it out anyways; he didn't look stupid, just sick.

"And I just have a cold or a flu or something. I think it's nothing, apparently my friends disagree, the traitors." Teddy flexed his fingers again, experimentally growing his nails longer and then back to their normal length. Before he could get too distracted, though, he remembered the other kid's existence and looked back at him, offering another smile.

"What's your name? Sorry, forgot to ask." He rolled his (now light gray) eyes at himself, inwardly cursing the stupid manners his mother had drilled into him. Then again, just 'cause this guy was Slytherin didn't mean he was a total jackass. In fact, he seemed to be almost...nice? Weird. But, either way, Teddy didn't believe in stupid school politics.

Dante tried to sit up but when he felt the turning, he let his haed fall back to the pillow. He listened intently to the ravenclaw boy tell his tale. Dante never met someone so keen on talking, but he liked it. He pulled in a whiff of his scent through his nostrils and almost passed out. Something smelt strangely familiar about his bloodline. Wolf? his eyes grew wide. Lupin.. Lupin.. where'd he hear that before? It was so familiar. my eyes are actually the windows to the soul that was so odd! Dante was telling Gem the exact same ting not to long ago! "Well your father is absolutely right." he smiled lightly. " that must be pretty cool, to change your appearance I mean...I'd sure love to" He mutteres that last part without even realising.

He'd give anything to be someone else for a change. Just to have a normal day in a normal life. But no, that could never happen. Poly juice potion wears off way to fast and takes to much time to make. His eyes darted back to the guy next to him, "Dante. Hunters." The scent filled his lungs again. the sting of it burned his eyes. He knew what he was! Of course! Why didn't he sense it before!

"You're a wolf aren't you!? Well.. in your blood. Not fully i mean!" He turned on his side to face him better. Dante hadn't met another half blood. Or close to that. Dante's vampire and wolf mix was unique, but to mixed wolf with metamorphagus must be brilliantly insane! He wondered how the kid coped. Dante always had trouble with feeding fenzies where the vampire and wolf clashed causing him to go mad with hunger. But did the boy have any difficulties? he was suddenly intrigued to get to know him more. Luna probably would kill him for hanging out with yet another non-Slytherin student but hey, he was already in trouble with Slytherin as it is, maybe he could find comfort in the other houses.

his heart quickened at having found another somewhat like him, it was insane! Never in his wildest years did he expect to find a boy so similar to him! Before this fiasco started with the other Slytherins, he never wanted friends. Now he was learning each and every day that they were vital. And to have lived without them for so long was questionable. Luna was his only friend, and twin sister. But he realised that there was more than just being stuck to her side. There was so much of a vareity out there he had been missing.

TEDDY LUPIN

"Yeah, it is kinda cool, I guess," Teddy said with an easy shrug. "Kinda annoying sometimes, 'specially in the Muggle world or with strangers, like you just saw," Teddy answered, chuckling lightly.

"Believe me, it's not as fun as you might think," Teddy said after a moment of hesitation, his face (and his hair, eyes and skin tone) darkening slightly for just a moment. He shook his head quickly and all traces vanished, his hair returning to it's normal mousy brown. Before Teddy could say anything else, though, Dante was on his side exclaiming about his being a wolf so loud it almost caused the poor boy to jump a foot in the air. He kept his cool, though (and his hair and eyes went back to brown from their bright yellow) and looked back at the kid, trying to figure out what his deal was.

"Er..." Teddy said, blinking, not sure how to answer. "Yes?" It came out as more of a question and Teddy tilted his head, slightly...well, greatly, confused. "My dad's a werewolf." This was practically common knowledge - had this kid been living under a rock for the past...however many years?

"Uh...why?" Teddy sat fully up in bed and crossed his legs, watching the other boy curiously as he propped his head on his fist. "I mean...Nope, I got no good reason other than normal curiosity and a little bit of weirdness goin' on. How'd you know that?" It didn't seem like this guy -Dante, Teddy corrected mentally- knew much about the gossip (Teddy was sure that there were always new rumors, the least of which was that he himself was ravaging the halls at night as a bloodthirsty monster) of the school or he wouldn't have asked.

Then again, maybe that was how he knew...Yeah, Ted, you're so brilliant... Teddy chastised himself, rolling his eyes. He's just successfully argued himself into submission.

"Half Metamorphagus and half werewolf, at your service," Teddy joked weakly, more to bring himself out of his reverie than anything else. Somehow, he felt that school gossip wasn't how this kid knew that...

...And that freaked him out more than a little bit.

He sat up against his will and through the aches of his stomach as he faced this other half blood monster. His mouth half agape as he just stared at him for a moent, not knowing what to say. He shook his head. "I'm sorry! I just.. i never met another half before. I'm half to! Well, not metamorphagus, I'm half vampire as well." Dante never spilled his secret like that before. Well it was no secret to anyone, but he never said it so bluntly before!

Dante was never familiar of the lupin's. he only knew that there was a Professor here by the name of lupin when his father came to hogwarts. But the name never was importance to him. He was sure his father told him about the Lupin's before, but Dante never fully paod attention to his parents when they spoke of these things! What child did? "I'm sorry if I'm gaping at you.He chuckled a bit, feeling his heart slowly reduce to normal again, " I never met anyone so similar to myself. It's just a bit exciting."

Dante never paid any mind to others. Had Teddy always been here with him? Was he letting his senses fail that much? He felt weak .. vulnerable for a moment as he took this new information in. It felt good to know someone like him, but frightening at the same time. How did he let this scent pass by him so many times and not even a breath of knowledge came to him? He looked up to Teddy aagin. Dante didn't even recall noticing him at all befire, He had been so wound by the other Slytherins' fingers that he never once noticed. All of this time he was missing out on meeting new people. All of that was about to change. "When are you getting out of here?" he wanted to know badly when he would get to talk to Teddy again, that hopefully this wasn't the last time.

TEDDY LUPIN

"Errr..." Teddy said, blinking at Dante blankly. A vampire? Really? And he was half-werewolf too? Wow, talk about freakish (no pun intended) coincidence. He was silent for a few minutes, eyebrows raised, trying to intake this new information. His eyes were a deep dark purple and they were staring somewhere over Dante's right shoulder.

Okay, so. First, he wasn't the only halfbreed (minus his sisters and Hagrid) at the school. Second, the other halfbreed he knew was half vampire and half werewolf (how the hell did that even happen?). Third...He was now the one gaping like an idiot.

"Er, no, that's okay," Teddy said, shaking his head to try to clear it. He wasn't entirely successful, but at least he was capable of speech now. "I guess it's not every day that you meet somebody like you or me," Ted allowed, chuckling a little. He went back to watching the other kid's face curiously - if Teddy's eyes were the window to his soul because they changed color, Dante's were because you could see every single emotion that passed through them.

"I dunno, actually. Whenever I can manage to let crazy nurse lady release me?" Teddy laughed. "Hopefully sometime soon. I kinda hate hospitals," Teddy looked around the too-white room and grimaced a little; hospitals gave him the spooks.

He thought for a minute, then said (almost hesitantly), "When we get outta this crazy joint, wanna hang out or somethin'? I should prolly tell you that I got more of Mum than of Dad, I'm not too wolfy. If you want to talk to other more-half-wolves than me, talk to my sisters."

...Did he seriously just tell the half vampire to seek out his sisters? Worst. Big. Brother. Ever.

"They're younger, though, and they don't really know how it all works." Teddy said with a shrug. "Not that I do either." He added with a snort, shaking his head. "Anyways, I-" Teddy shut up right quick as Pomfrey came back with a bottle of medicine, and he let out a low growl, his hair turning a deep copper brownish red.

"If this tastes like crap, I am going to pitch such a fit..." Pomfrey ignored him; Teddy had been dishing out the same threats since first year. Grimacing again, he downed the drink in one gulp, choking on the taste. "God fu-uggh..." Teddy caught himself in time, still coughing. "You'd think with bloody magic we could get medicine that actually tastes good,"

Dante was stunned. Absolutely and positively stunned! It sure as heck wasn't every day you met a half breed. He was realising everything he was missing, all these years he was just a pawn to the Slytherins, missing out on everyone else he could be meeting. But that was coming to an end. they disowned him. He needed to move forward now. He smield to teddy, letting his fangs gleam in the light. he felt comfortable now, the boy knew what he was. but he did indeed look nervous. " It's hard being a vampire and a wolf. Sometimes the two instincts fight each other. I'm learning to deal with it though. For the most part, the wolf is more dominant." he shrugged.

Dante looked quickly over to him again as he asked to hang out after they get released. It was great! he really had made a new frind! But.. did teddy realise which house Dante was in? he looked down to the crest on his own pair of robes and sighed. "Not to be a bubble burster but you do know I'm Slytherin right?" Merlin wha thad he done! He probably just ruined having this new friend by mentioning that one terrible word.

His nose scrunched as he watched the poor guy drink another round of medicine but he then chuckled at the remark he made of magic. " So true. All of this magic needs to be good for something! Why not start with making the meds better tasting. Ugh." he looked to his own cup which was empty and he gave a shudder.

"Er, yes?" Teddy said with a laugh, shaking his head. "It's only slightly obvious there, Dan," He paused, then chuckled, figuring he should explain. "Sorry, I kinda give everybody nicknames. Like...Christina and Balinda are Tin and Lin." He said with a laugh, shaking his head again.

"Anyways, I don't really care what House you're in." He continued after a moment's pause. "You're not an asshole, which means we can be friends." Teddy said simply, shrugging easily. "If you were like the rest of your house, we'd have a problem, but you're not, so 's all good," Teddy chuckled and popped his neck, stiff.

"I bet it would be hard," Teddy said thoughtfully. "It's annoying to just be half wolf, I bet being a vampire would suck ass," Teddy said with a chuckle. "No pun intended?" He added, laughing. "Well, I guess it's a good thing that the wolfie's stronger than vampie, 'cause I don't think Headmaster would like it too much if there was a bloodbath or two. Well, he is crazy, so maybe he would." Teddy said with a snort, shaking his head.

He fell silent again then, holding up a hand in front of his face, experimentally changing the color of his skin, the length of this nails. Of course, he eventually got bored of that, so he dropped it again and looked back at Dante, studying him. What a weird dude.

Dante nodded. He was happier than he had ever been in his life. So many people feared him for just being a Slytherin, he never even got a chance to tell them he was a monster! He felt lighter knowing that Teddy didn't mind what house he was in. His chest heaved up and down as he chuckled at the joke Teddy passed. "Well, it sure as hell bites!" he smiled, laughing at his self for being so ridiculous.

"Yea when I first arrived, the Headmaster made me swear I would control myself and not bite a student. But.. people don't smell right to me. Not like dinner anyway. I'm more of a fox and squirrel person." he wouldn't tell him thouh that there had been a few times where people smelled nice to him, but that had only been from him practically starving hmself so much anything smelled good. And yes, Dante did eat regular food sometimes just like a regular wolf could.

His eyes flickered to the boy's skin as it changed. he gave a smirik, " What else can you do? Can you change you whole appearance then? Like.. look like a girl?" He couldn't help himself, it was entertaining to watch! And Teddy seemed like a cool person.

Teddy laughed at the joke too, shaking his head. He remained quiet as Dante spoke, listening. So people didn't smell good? Huh...

...When had a sentence like that become normal?

Shaking that thought away, Teddy looked back to Dante as he asked a question that so, so many people had asked before; unlike with them, though, Ted didn't roll his eyes and tell them to bugger off, he just chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah, female Teddy don't look too cute, but yeah, I can," Teddy said with a laugh. Teddy figured that he'd want to see proof, so he smiled to himself and slowly focused on growing his hair longer and lighter, making his face more angular and making his whole body more lighter. The only thing he didn't change? Well...Let's just say, he liked being a male anatomically.

"Ta dah," Teddy said, making his voice go just a bit higher. He looked back at Dante and smiled a little at the look on his face. "I call her Teddina," He joked, shaking his head. After giving Dante enough time to soak it in, Teddy stretched out and changed back (becoming himself was always a lot easier than becoming other things), yawning.

"You'd be surprised how many times I get asked that," He said, chuckling lightly. "I don't really like doing it, though, 's kind of weird being in an...almost entirely girl's body." He said, grinning impishly. "There's certain things I don't like getting rid of, if you know what I mean," Teddy laughed then, shaking his head.

Yeah, he could see himself and Dante being good friends. It was easy, nice, happy between them. Teddy liked that.

Dante watched while Teddy's hair and eyes changed shape. It was a bit comical to see the boy go from male to estrogen so fast! It was pretty funny the name he chose as well. "Teddina! I lvoe it! Do you get mood swings to if yo ustay female to long? Man that's wicked how you can do that! Sure it gets you out of loads of trouble to!" That would be brilliant!

There's certain things I don't like getting rid of, Dane laughed. He knew exactlywhat he meant by that. " Yea lets not lose those items eh. Very useful indeed!" he sank back into the sheets of the bed. He hadn;t noticed how quick the potion he drank had cured him of his ailments. But he felt muuuch better now.

Questions formed in his head that he couldn't resist asking. Perhaps teddy wouldn't mind them. "You're dad, he's full werewolf? I mean, no other blood besides magic though right?" He wondered if he should tell him that his father was werepire and his mother was a human when they had he and his sister. That prbably didn't make a dfference anyway, the father genes were always dominant over the female. Especially in dogs...
