Sky was grey and clouds colored as steal slowly moved over it, announcing the rain which was about to come. Courtyard, filled with blooming flowers, didn’t look as ideal as usual, there was something in the air, some hidden misery which washed every petal, every leaf, embracing the beauty in the everlasting embrace of pessimistic mood.
Or at least it looked that way to Naavi.
Moist filled the air and sucked all vivaciousness out of, if Naavi didn’t knew better, she would swear that in some shadow Dementor lurks, hidden, waiting for a soul to bring into the land of misery.
Her mood was, if nothing else, rather strange, because usually she was the one who radiated with intense emotions, it made no difference that those emotions were always as twisted as her young mind, because still they were emotions.

Complications which she alone inflict upon herself, feeling of isolation and final acknowledgment of the fact that she was alone, had an effect on her for the first time in so many years. In moment of honesty, in that rare occasion when her arrogance was sound asleep, she realized that she is alone. Reason for that was not a secret, and one wasn’t facing an impossible task in attempt to find out what that reason was. No matter how complicated it may seem on the first glance, with Naavi was simple, maybe not simple and clean, but always simple.

She realized that she pushed the only person she cared about from herself, she realized that her behavior finally resulted in one thing – Daniel hating her, trying to deny the fact that he was even related to her. It hurt, because if Naavi had a soft spot, then it was no other than Daniel, the only person she loved.
Her possessive, vindictive nature finally forced her to pay a price, to feel the punishment for every decision she made so far, and that punishment was grave, so dreadful that Naavi could barely stand it. For the first time in her life she was forced to look inside, to find mistakes in her own actions rather than blaming others for everything. That look inside was so horrible, the idea of facing all hidden, buried emotions and thoughts she ignored in attempt to smother them, kill them, through all this years was terrifying her, because she knew that she alone was her worst enemy.
Road of self-destruction could be extremely thrilling and entertaining, but it was a wrong journey to take, long, empty road she needed to walk alone.

To make no mistake, Naavi wasn’t a nice person, she wasn’t a victim of circumstances, poor soul trapped in the chains of her parent’s ways of raising her, she wasn’t deluded girl who just ended up on the wrong track. From the moment she started comprehending certain things, she alone decided to act in this way, no one forced her, no one lied to her and lured her into darkness under some false pretences wrapped inside the layer of beautiful promises. It was her decision to act like a monstrosity, it was her choice to inflict torment to others and bring them as much pain as it was in her power.
She took the road of self-.destruction, she accepted the role of the protagonist, being perfectly aware in the same time that she is making an enemy out of herself, knowing that one day, in the near future, she will destroy herself.
Still, even the flowers of evil had the right to cry over the petals they alone plucked, even bad girls had right to fell regret, even if it was for just one second.

Sitting on the ground, with such an empty expression in her grey eyes, she waited for rain, waited for miracle to come.
Miracle didn’t arrived, Naavi deserved no such thing, but rain did. Raindrops started falling on her skin bringing some strange soothing feeling to her. No, it wasn’t the rain which was able to wash away all the lies, all fears she hide behind that wall she build around herself, it was more like a rain which revealed how small she really is, a rain which forced her to see herself in the same way the world saw her.
Feeling the rain on her skin, knowing that her clothes were wet, her hair soaked, she just continued sitting there, without moving, waiting for that miracle to arrive, even though she knew that it will not.

Shinya had been taking a quiet stroll, humming softly to himself as he twirled his parasol over his shoulder, though it was closed. Glancing up at the sky, he sighed slightly, as the clouds were obviously showing signs of rain. Gah. Rain. He hated rain. But, glancing back at the castle, he didn't want to go inside just yet, or else he would have gotten all dressed up for nothing. :P That and he was lazy.

Continuing his soft tune, he occassionally stooped to pick up a flower, delicately, admiring each and every one for its beauty. They were called...what was the word? Les fleurs, weren't they? In French, yes, that's what he remembered from his studies back in Kyoto.

As he continued down in no particular direction, he caught sight of what appeared to be Daniel's sister, Naavi, sitting alone. From this distance he could not read her expression, though, to be honest, he was hesitant to do so. After all, he'd had one brief meeting with her, and already he was...uncomfortable around her. Not afraid...he felt no fear around the girl, nor was he intrigued, at least in the 'attractive' sense of the word, but again, as he'd thought before, he felt only a small shred of sympathy.

Hm. But he would dwell on that later. As he steered a path around her, giving her plenty of room, he realized she didn't look all too hostile today. She even appeared pensive...in the serene sense of the word. Well, today was as good as any to try something new, and so, opening up his parasol as it began to rain to shield himself from the water, he approached cautiously, making sure to come into her view from the side, at a distance, so as not to startle her...or give any possible notion that he was trying to sneak up on her.

Then, walking in front of her, he bowed slightly, formally, as he always did upon greeting. "Um...hello, dear. You are Naavi, yes?" He smiled shyly, in an attempt to appear friendly, afraid his courage might falter.
