The Hellmouth has Opened...
What would happen if the world has been forced to change forever? If the dead began to walk the earth and the creatures of the night took victim after victim? It is a strange world, now at least. People talk about these creatures, these monsters...how they're the immortals...but then the balance was changed. Because the mutants were thrown into the mix.
Ragnarok will do all they can to either convert the world to their mantra of destruction and apocalypse or kill them as examples. One group is striving to stop it, full of the very creatures humanity fears. And what does the incoming eclipse have to do with it?

While watching them crawl on the planets face...he floated above, watching the insects called the 'human race'...his arms are crossed in a position of superiority, legs straight and crossed in a moment of dramatic flair, half metal, half exposed sinew and bone...what creature was this...well he was no...no CREATURE! He was the Magician!
"Dear sir...fly down and um...invite said friends for dinner will you?" he'd drawled in a shakesperean dramatic accent, pompous as he was.
"And you really think that this is the best way to go about htis? We were told to cause trouble..."
"Oh do shut up, I do the talking...you, as said beastie do the grunt work..." The Magician had snapped in response, cutting of his bat-like compatriot, before floating higher, over the street beneath him. As his 'friend' swooped down, flying like a bird of prey and snatching two important people who were just leaving the office doors and flying htem up into the air...the Magician turned gracefully while in the air, sending a barrage of burning projectiles down at them.
"Let us go!" One of them shouted, and the other flyer had laughed shrilly before saying, your not THAT stupid, human!. The creature then flew up to the top floor of said office building.
Soon many undead began crawling from the sewers, from the subway, making their way towards the office building and stopping to get anyone who went int their way.
"Those of you who think you can defeat us may try and fail...as you fall to THE MAGICIAN! For I am no ordinary creature, I am the great lich, the sorceror of great power..." As said speech went on, the other flier could e seen rolling his eyes.

Lazarus had just recently left the entertaining company of Azure and Cass, seeking a resident of the Hellmouth in his nightly hunt. the sound of screams and the accompaning visual made it clear he, at least once, had found his mark. hiding behind the skyscraper, nicely inconspicous, Laz pushed on the side of the building. Then pushed harder. And harder. with no muscles to provide a limit to his increase in force, soon his hand was buried deep in the wall. When his strength level had far passed human, he lept in the air, soaring high due to his lightness, and movedd to smash the cocky sorcerer in the face.
"And I am a man who's name you may never know, about to beat the crap out of you unless you tell me some things about the hellmouth."

The sorceror had been able to anticipate the movement, using his position int he air to turn and barely dodge the hit, and he looked down. "By the infernal pit, you nearly hit me!" He'd exclaimed, shakespearean voice adding over-dramatic flair.
""And I am a man who's name you may never know, about to beat the crap out of you unless you tell me some things about the hellmouth."
"Ah, yes that lovely peace of real estate...fear not, you shall learn more about the Hellmouth...when my master sees fit! And when he does, you will wish you kept your curiosities to yourself! Now do hold still will you?" He'd responded in his pompous accent, aiming down and launching a projectile bolt at his new opponent.
Meanwhile, seeing two undead fall, the bat like man dove down, free falling and swooping at the last minute so that he was on the same level as the woman with the blood sword.
"You should've stayed at home, I don't like hurting pretty girls!" He'd shouted, before laughing shrilly and adding, "You've been meddling in unholy affairs for too long! Now you will have to deal with me!"

The Magician had merely laughed, looking down at the man and saying, "You really think that one hit will hurt me?" Then the manhole cover had flown up at him, and he tried to rise to beat it but it smashed into him, and he fell against the building hard. "How very rude!"
"Because i don't talk to peons!" The creature had gloated arrogantly. Seeing his gesture, he had laughed, allowing himself to fall down, arms crossed as if he were a corpse and legs straight, floating forward quickly, right arm glowing with supernatural energies as he aimed an uppercut.
"No I'm not that fake piece of nothing! Leave it to a human to only be able to exchange stupid insults, can't even attack properly..." He'd snarled, before rising again, and flying foward, bobbing and dodging in the air to throw her off, slashing brutally with his claws at her once he got to her, with a animalistic speed.
"lets get this over with My boyfriends waiting." she said her expression taking on a much more dangerous touch.

The Magician had floated barely above the ground, a sweep kick would not knock him off, so he took the oppurtunity to launch a bolt at his opponent quickly, whether to cause a diversion so that he could get further back where he was better off...or to do damage, it would depend on if it hit. He was an arrogant creature, he assumed he was the better, and that his blasts would soon tire his opponent out; meaning that he was vulnerable if his opponent knew how to use his arrogance against him.
"And what interest do you have in the Hellmouth that would make you forfeit your life today?" He'd asked with a arrogant chuckle, "Is it not enough that you've suffered with who knows what as a result of the hellmouth, so that now you must suffer defeat at the hands of The Magician?"
He knew that the difference in agility granted by their sword play versus his claws meant that she couldn't easily block each one...after all, he was an undead creature with his own strengths...a girl wouldn't last for long, she would have to run out of speed right? Gah he wasn't good at strategy!...please don't let her last for long....that would be embarassing and the Magican would not let him live it down!
She went into the scratches and he was a bit confused, the creature would not be the sort to let up his attacks lightly, he reared back, ceasing his assault alarmed because of this change of strategy on her end, before launching himself at her in an attempt at a tackle, with a frightening shriek.

He threw one hand, creating a magical shield that had blocked the first hit, but not the next, which sent him....reeling...reeling?! That couldn't be right! He was The Magician! Not some little twit! How was it he was being hit...again!? He took another hit, falling back, to the ground, and skidding before using magical energies to push himself from his back, rising creepily arms crossed, before launching more.
His expression of pure ferocity changed to pure shock as he reared back, trying to stop his tackle before he was speared on that blood sword, he had slowed his approach enough to graze the upper side of his torso, along with cutting a slit in the skin between the bones of his wings. He let out a cry before crashing into a parked car. Dark blood now dripped as he stood.
"You were warned, now your next, get her!" He'd shouted, and soon while other bats seemed to radiate around him while others tried to block any assault she'd have. Many trying to bite at her with their teeth, and others communicating with him.

(Im cutting Ali, she does nothing)
seeing his sucess, Laz allowed himself to relax and paid for it in short order. He was hit hard with the blast of magic, flying backwards with his hat and scarf falling off, revealing his skull.
"woops, my secret's out. Now do you see what I have against the Hellmouth?" Laz flipped around and launched off of a building, closing the distance between them, and delivered a much longer assault, one ten minutes long with so much vigour it should have only lasted one (feel free to interrupt it). While doing so, he continued his speech.
"Now, if you'd rather not die twice, I suggest you answer my questions: first: how can I get into the hellmouth without dying?"
