---- Normal. Everything in the lobby was normal. There was the hum of the lights, the steady breeze from the AC. Normal. Though, there didn't seem to be any life at the time, but there was more than likely someone awake in the mighty Hotel. It was almost dawn, which meant all the vampire tenants (Angel) would probably either be going to bed, or was already in bed. Illyria, probably starting to wake up, and Gunn, well, he'll be asleep for another 8 hours or so.

---- One of the smaller lights flickered, the hum extinguished by a CRACK! As if someone had hit an explosive switch, every light in the lobby flickered off, then exploded in an almost plotted stream. The lobby fell into an inky darkness, the only light was that of the young sun, peaking in through a crack in the far wall.

---- Suddenly, the lobby was illuminated by a blinding white light, it's source indeterminable. There was no heat from the light, but rather a feeling was emitted. A peaceful, serene feeling. Again, like someone had flipped a light switch, the white light disappeared. The feeling also vanished and the real world was let back in. As the real world entered, so did a soft, constant hum. Breathing.

---- The source of that breathing was only quite for a moment though, for within seconds of her arrival, a blood curdling scream blasted from her vocals, awakening everyone on the block...maybe even Gunn!

---- The broken lights in the lobby re-lit themselves, flickering as if they were candles. They cast a warm orange light across the lobby, making a shape clearly visible on the floor. She was a familiar body, that of Cordelia Chase, the 'thought-to-be-dead' Angel Investigator. She stumbled to her feet, pushing herself against a wall for support. Her face was streaked with fear and possible even happiness. Her breathing was hastened as the thumping of foot steps climbed down the stairs, approaching the Lobby.
