manual.
More information on the world of Arcymnis, particularly Significance, and the regulations and such, may be found in the manual. It's requisite to read the Plot, Rules, On Species and On Magic; but the others are voluntary, but prefferred. All maps courtesy of Morgan Feyran, and all other text and images their respected owners.

Questions, comments, complaints, suggestions: all here. This is about the only place that guests can post, besides the Advertisements, so be thankful. Do not come here and complain about how you don't like the skin, or it isn't fair that you can't swear. I just don't want to hear that. I do like suggestions though, so post helpful ones, if you feel up to it.

character creation.
The character application form is pinned inside, write -- err, type the information needed and post it on a new thread. Be sure to make sure that you have read what's allowed and what's not, because, I, quite frankly, do not feel like repeating myself. Feel free to change the font, font colors and images, providing that it is legible. Pets and jobs are located in the application outpost.

Wanna job? Or a pet? Fill out the form that's pinned, and post it. Of Pets; Make sure that the species you want is allowed, and that it isn't outlandishly extravagant. Of Jobs; Make sure that the job you want isn't taken and that you will be active enough for it. If you aren't active enough, I'll have to fire you.

Just like in real life, when you have a blog, or a diary, your character can have one too. If your character is an artist, or writer, or poet, feel free to post some of "their" work. Say who really wrote/drew it though, I don't want to get sued. And no, characters here do not have Myspace (ugh) let alone electricity to run a computer.

Face Claims, where you can find a picture of a celebrity that looks like you character and say that's what your character looks like, and nobody else can look like he/r. I don't know why they do it, but it is fun. And Name Reservations, don't forget those. Reserve a name you want for up to a month.

rebellion territories.
Since Roheir found out where the Rebellion was making their residence, they moved quickly and quietly in the dark of night to a place by the Morchmaine River. The housings and other buildings are currently tents and small lean-to's, but studier shelter is being built as we speak. Dusk may or may not be moving the rebellion to a cave system in the Crags, but she's still deciding. Whatever she does, she'd better hurry before they erect permanent shelter. [when your character is just wandering aimlessly or will go multiple places within the rebellion's grounds, post it here.]

rebellion headquarters.
A shack at the bank of the river Morchmaine serves its purpose as the rebellion's headquarters. A solitary table rests on the sandy floors inside, a few chairs surrounding. Plans and strategies are laid out, and all are welcome to share their ideas.

practice grounds.
Loud clangs of swords on shields and the sounds of arrows thudding into targets emanate from this place. The practice grounds are located in a grove of tree, probably oaks, about a half mile from camp. A well is off to the side, it's been there for some time now. A bugle rests on a large boulder, to call if there's trouble.

rebellion campsite.
The rebellion campsite is milling with activity, from children romping and playing, to others bringing in the wounded. Personal quarters are off to the north, while the kitchens and infirmary opposite.

A towering building, yet incomplete, looms over the land. Roheir's castle, slaves labor from dawn to dusk, late into the night, when there is enough light. It will be finished in a year are so, depending on weather and if the slaves last that long.

Behind Karklag, a forest, never having been fully explored, lies in wait for you. Some have gone in, and never returned. Some have gone in, and returned, but raving mad. It is your choice, to go, or not to...
It's now been discovered that the trees are populated by the tree spirits: Draiads. They bind your feet with roots, and keep you there, as they don't get much company, but love people. If they tire of you, though, you may be done away with.

There is a loud sound of cracking and crumbling as you approach a large pit, known to all as simply, the Quarry. Slaves toil here, bringing great masses of stone to finish the great castle Karklag. Some die; some live. Who knows who will be next?

slave compound.
They eat here, sleep here, die here. The slaves' "home" is not a pretty place. Guards are posted at six feet intervals, armed with crossbows and swords. Rescue missions are on occasion, but now it proves to be a little risky. The best way would probably be to drug their drinks.

Large mountains meander along the Morchmaine River. Fun for climbing, but more importantly: scouting missions. Mt. Freedom is part of this chain. The remnants of the previous rebellion camp reside here, but none dare venture there. Roheir has the place watched carefully, as he suspects the rebels may come back.
