Why do you want to play this character(if canon): Well, I used to RP Kagura on YIM ( I hate YIM rping ) and I was always having fun with her and somehow she ended up with Akito. xD It was... very interesting and everyone else who was in our RP 'group' knew us as the 'forbidden couple' and from that I decided maybe I need to role play more... canon-ly (is that a word) and I think I'd be good at Kagura. PLUS, she's not with Kyou much anymore... so I get away with not having to stick her with him too much. ^-^ Though, I do LOVE Kyou myself. xD

Physical Appearence: Kagura is average in height, at 5’3” and physically fit for her age, weighing less than the normal eighteen year old. Her eyes are rather wide compared to most members of her family and she is often seen sporting a cat backpack, which resembles Kyou greatly. She is almost always seen in dresses and rarely wears any sort of sneaker or shorts, she also always has a very small bracelet around her left (I believe) wrist that seems to be tiny flowers of some sort. She's always seen smiling unless something doesn't go her way or something makes her sad. Kagura has never been attacked by Akito, which leads us all to believe that she has no markings bearing abuse or anything of the sort – so perhaps her skin is flawless. Her hair is dark brown, shoulder-blade length. She ties pieces back and lets the rest fall free. Her bangs fall about eyebrow level. Her eyes are gray in color.

Personality: Kagura is a very spunky girl; she can snap at the drop of the hat and has a very bad tendency to become jealous of other girls and has even declared Tohru Honda her rival - though they soon appears to have forgotten much of that declaration and hangs out with Tohru. She has the strength to knock boy's across the room due to her training with Kazuma Sohma. When Kagura loves someone, she goes all out and doesn't hold back - which could be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. She could be classified as selfish, as she went through most her life claiming she loved someone only to discover later that she was really using that person to make herself feel better. Kagura's personality is much different compared to the rest of the Sohma's, she goes through emotions like a revolving door and yet never seems to go overboard ( unless of course she's around Kyou ) thought lately her spaztic actions around the Cat have certainly calmed greatly. Being such an eccentric girl, you’d probably expect her hobby to be something abstract and ‘out-there’ but Kagura simply loves sewing and even made herself a cat backpack, that resembles Kyou – minus the bowtie.

---History
Family: Her father left when he discovered his daughter was cursed, and Kagura now lives with her mother.
History : When Kagura was very young, she hung around Kyou and they played as if nothing was wrong in their lives – like brother and sister and they often hung out at the park. Kagura had the tendency to enjoy holding Kyou's hand while they played and one day she accidentally ended up tugging his beads off of his wrist and Kyou transformed right before her eyes. Scared to death, she fled, unable to accept what Kyou really was. Nowadays, she feels as if she hurt his feelings. Kagura lives with her mother and her cousin Rin (for a period of time). Her father left them after discovering that his daughter was cursed with the spirit of the boar and thus her mother finds it especially important to protect her daughter from Akito. Incidentally, Kagura is the only female Juunishi not to be hurt emotionally or physically by the Head of House. In the beginning it seems that Kagura may have the deepest and most profound love for Kyou Sohma, the Cat, but she later reveals to Kyou that her love was simply a way for her to feel better about herself. She soon apologizes and comes to accept the friendship between Kyou and Tohru. Kagura is one of members of the Juunishi to be trained under the guidance of Kazuma Sohma, thus making her emotionally and physically strong. Later on, when Tohru finds reason to come and tell Rin (?) of her feelings for Kyou, Kagura walks right up to her and smacks her hard enough that she passes out – thus, Rin attacks Kagura. She later explains that perhaps Kyou needed to know how Tohru felt. This may or may not be Kagura showing that she still cares for Kyou and believes in the best for him; she may also see him as an ‘older brother’ type of person.
Sample Rp: Stomping her feet down multiple times against the sidewalk, Kagura publicly demonstrated her way of throwing a fit. Which involved a lot of stomping, arm flailing, fists balled and whining. Of course, in one hand she had her cat-backpack slinging around all over the place to keep people away. "ARG!!" She shouted, stopping suddenly and looking around at all the people giving her looks. Flushing lightly, she lowered her arms, slung the back over her shoulder, fixed her hand and walked off with her nose tossed in the air, "Hmph."

Of course, the girl didn't normally choose to randomly throw fits in front of super markets, but she was lost. Horribly lost and assuming that if she made that known to people someone would choose to help her -- but NO. So she was off to find another area where people may give her the time of day and direct her back to the Sohma Estate. Of course, she'd also learned that taking short cuts through trees and over fences was not the best way to return back home before her mother had a fit... of course, she wasn't expected to be home right away, but still, she would end up throwing a fit.

Tugging some on the sleeve of her light green dress, she hiked her bag up a bit higher on her back and broke into a flat-foot run down the sidewalk, dogging people that were coming towards her as she went on her way. Maybe she'd be lucky and recognize a street... or not. Or she could just end up slamming into someone. Someone who was obviously not paying attention and kind enough to slam shoulders with her, sending the girl stumbling to catch her balance and grabbing a light pole. Spinning around it as she tried to halt herself, eyes wide, face ashen, she looked at him, clinging to dear life on the pole. Her cat bag ending up laying on the curb, arms slung over the side as if trying to pull itself up.

"Ugh... WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" She shouted, rubbing her head and wincing some. Not that she'd hit her head, but the spin had certainly gotten the girl dizzy. "You could've KILLED me!" She exagerated greatly, glaring at the boy as he picked up what seemed to be a book. A very wet book. "Whoops..." She muttered.
