Once again it is that magical time of year where you can find fat men being pulled by deer flying in the air. Light layers of snow have caked lawns and side walks alike as patches of ice slowly creep upon the streets. My name is Elysia!") People say I have issues, but I don't really care! Though I haven't read the Fruits Basket manga yet, I have seen EVERY Fruits Basket episode (rented 'em all)---I am SO annoyed that they didn't continue the series! And when it was just getting good! :-[ But I am definitely curious about that site someone mentioned that displays scans of the manga . . . Does anyone know the link to it? Anyways, the Fruits Basket manga is already on my Christmas list . . . Oh, and I'm currently making a character, who will (hopefully) be a new Sohma---the otter. Thinking of a name is kind of hard, though . . . Especially a remotely Japanese one.

Well, that's probably due to the fact that I've been taking Spanish for years, but I can pretend that I just knew, right? Nice to meet you, I hope to not be overly disturbing - or at least too disturbing for you to tolerate.^^ And you should read the manga, too, it's very good...Although I don't know the link, sorry. The otter, huh? Sounds interesting. I like otters, myself, although I hadn't thought of them for a curse animal; very awesome idea.^^ Don't worry, Japanese names are hard for most people who aren't Japanese, or at least ones I've met.

I've found some from 20,000 names: ~Amaya --- night rain ~Aoi --- blue ~Rika --- valued fragrance ~Ran --- water lily Out of those four, my favorite is Amaya, which can be shortened to "Ama" and "Aya". Though I guess it doesn't really matter what the name means, I like my characters to have "cultural" names.
