Here are some guidelines to keep in mind when posting astronomy comments about Myst games:


At anytime, you may be corrected on the names of heavenly objects.

Other than the shapes of objects and animals in the first Myst game, no heavenly objects in the Myst games have been given names. While this affords us an ability to give such objects name, please be advised that if Cyan ever comes forward with names for these objects, they will be changed and listed as such immediatly, reguardless of what names or designations we may have given them.

Cyan has never said that Myst V: End Of Ages is cannon.
While you can comment all you desire here, please realize that the events that happened in the game and things you saw, are not considered history for MOUL. That may be changing as we see things happen in the Cavern, but do not swear by your post "Because it was in Myst V."


Spoilers Galore!

During your discussion it is quite easy to spoil someone that has not played the game before. I know that to many of us, this seems impossible because "Everybody" has got to have played these games already!
That is not always the case.
A picture of a general scene is fine. However, if you list things to get there that involve how to solve puzzles and / or secrets, please place them in a spoiler code.
