Dungeon Corridors
Below the school, there are the sprawling passages of the dungeon corridors. Few students other than the Slytherins venture there unless of course to go to Potions class or the Student Storeroom. The air is cool and moist and water trickles down the stones of the walls. Torches are ablaze on the walls in seemingly random locations, providing refuge from the windowless darkness.

The Great Hall
A huge, oak door reaching near to the ceiling grants your passage into the Great Hall itself. Four banners hang one the walls representing each one of the four houses at Hogwarts, two on either wall. Usually cluttered with students, this is a great place to get to know your fellow classmates over dinner. Four large tables are aligned perfectly next to one another for each of the four houses, and then another at the back of the hall for the staff. Hundreds of candles can be seen floating overhead near the ceiling.

The Hospital Wing

Library
Wandering around there are stacks and stacks of books everywhere. Students work at tables - some quietly, some whispering as Madame Pince looks on disapprovingly. Torches blaze brightly to light the shelves full of old and new volumes.

Classrooms
Hogwarts’ curriculum is as it used to be, teaching young new wizards the fundamentals of magic and the history of it. Professors hold classes as often as possible, and even though you are not required to take any of these classes, it is highly sought after that you do. Who knows, maybe learning magic could be fun! The curriculum consists of the following; Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, Divination, Herbology, Potions, Ancient Ruins, Muggle Studies, Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures. As the years progress new classes will begin to get taught, with Professors passing on their valuable knowledge to the students. Why not come and take a look?

Professors' Corridor
A row of doors can be seen on either side, each leading into a different office of the Hogwarts’ Professors. Their doors are always open to students, lending a friendly ear to whatever you need to get off your chest, or possibly even tattle on one of the other students! Don’t worry; the Professors will keep that secret. Even if you are just dropping by for a friendly chat, the Professors will always be keen to help you out whatever you may want.

North Tower
One of the tallest towers, this one is found on the North side of the castle. Venture up many dozens steps to reach the top of the tower and gaze out at the castle bounds. It is rumoured that the Gryffindor Common Room can be found within this tower.

Headmistress Jaurès' Office
A hideous gargoyle blocks your path. You speak the password, "Hellebore," which grants you access to a bleak staircase winding upwards. At the top is Headmistress Jaurès' office, decorated in luxurious mahogany, blue and silver; perhaps a tie to her mysterious past.

The Grounds
Green lawns sprawl out beyond the castle, expanding to the distant forest. Birds fly overhead and students walk and sometimes study by the lake. The Greenhouses are visible as well as the Whomping Willow. Chatter can be heard, and in winter, the occasional snowball fight, but mostly it is quiet and peaceful.

Groundkeeper's Hut
Located just a little way away from the castle. Home to the Game Keeper Hagrid, but watch yourself, you may just get a thorough licking from Fang!

The Black Lake
The first year students are accompanied by the "Keeper of the Keys and Grounds" to small boats, which magically sail across a lake to arrive in a grotto beneath the castle of Hogwarts.

Forbidden Forest
The Forbidden Forest is a large, dark forest to the east of Hogwarts Castle. It is usually referred to simply as "the Forest". It is strictly forbidden to all students, except during Care of Magical Creatures lessons and, on very rare occasions, detentions.

The Quidditch Pitch
The grass has been freshly cut and the stands are practically empty with the exception of a few students looking out over the Pitch. Large poles with hoops at the top are set up at the ends of the field. The field is currently occupied one of the Quidditch Teams, practicing for their next game.
