Michelle Rodriguez back in new RE film?, silent hill 2 news/rumors?

The first official trailer has been released for RE: Retribution, and it shows Michelle Rodriquez. She, however, doesn't appear to be a zombie, maybe a clone? It looks like Jill Valentine may have a larger role in this next movie, but the filming apparently just ended, and they haven't really done a lot of editing yet. It's suppose to be in theaters in September.

IMDB is stating that Silent Hill 2 3D is in post production, which means the film is suppose to have been shot, yet another article is saying that the movie was cancelled because they passed their 'filming' window (aka timeframe) to shoot it, as noted in the link below.

It looks like one way or another, silent hill 2 will be made.. Still no news on whether it's going to be direct to dvd or not. Being 3D gives it a better chance of hitting theaters though.

Michelle Rodriguez is going to be playing two clones in this next movie, according to an interview. Bad rain and good rain. Bad Rain works for the umbrella corp, and Jill Valentine (also playing an evil character) is going to be her boss in the movie!

ha, that's awesome! Why would she be cloned though? One of my favorite movie series of all time besides the Matrix movies...

Maybe umbrella (or???) is trying to repopulate the world since almost everyone else is dead, they have to clone people?

I always found it amazing when you hear the actress that plays jill valentine speak in real life she sounds nothing like what she does in the movie. Very similar to Lucy Lawless with Xena.
