Yeah, I notice we have a few threads like this every once in awhile, but the answer is going to be different every time. I just started playing Might and Magic Book I on the NES and am feeling a bit nostalgic for some old-skool rpgs.

If the following list is accurate, the wii has a really small percentage of NES games on their VC:

Only two new NES games listed for 2012? It sounds like Nintendo really hasn't been able to acquire a lot of rights. I'd expect to see might and magic, ultima, and dragon warrior on the list.

It looks like they've taken out several games they use to offer, after losing contracts with data east and irem, as well as the teenage mutant ninja turtles series, because of problems with viacom. Turtles in Time was a pretty awesome SNES game back in the day. Losing the R-Type (by Irem) series has to be a big loss as well.

I just hope we still have a few more years to download the VC titles before Nintendo commits to Wii U.
