I had one of the coolest experiences this summer! I found a little female Ruby Throated Hummingbird on a sidewalk. It allowed us to touch it and hold it. It was amazing! I think it ran into our sliding doors and knocked itself out. [suprise]

It was alright. It flew to a tree and finally flew away approx 10 minutes later.

Just had to share. I think I may have some pics on my camera. I'll look in the morning.

i had a ruby throat fall into my fountain on the front porch a couple year back, i got it out n dried it off, kept it safe til its feathers dried out enough it could fly. needless to say, the fountain got took down n moved to the shed.
