Third annual United States Colored Troops Symposium "Earning the Right to Citizenship-III" Friday: 10am-3pm Living history demonstratiopn at areas schools, genealogical workshop, 6pm Welcome Reception USCT documentary at NC Museum of History Saturday: 9am-5pm Seminars & Workshops on the Underground Railroad; Role of New Bern, James City, Princeville and Roanoke Islandin support of the 2000,000 United States Colored Troops; Black Spies in NC; NC Battles of New Bern, Wilmington, Goldsboro, Plymouth and Wyse Fork; NC Civil War Trail attractions; Living History re-enactments; School Curriculum and more... Special Guest Luncheon Speaker. Annual Heritage Awards Banquet.
