Yo!
Hot of The Press! Welcome to Generation X and hope you have a rockin' stay!Generation X:Uprise is located in Bayville, New York where Xavier's Institute is located. The site focuses more on the X-Men's teenage years and their adjusting to a world that despises them for what they are, mutants.

As hard as we try to stay PG-13, haha, we can sometimes get overboard with cussing/sexual content ect. So beware some of the site content can get rated R. We accept both canons and originals, but please look through the canon list and see if maybe you wouldn't want to adopt one instead of making an original.

Guests wont be able to see the whole board.

Many things have happened over the past couple of years, one important thing being the world wide descovery of mutants. After several struggles for mutant rights things cooled down in Bayville, or so the residents thought. After feeling abandon and forgotten, Raven Darkholme formally known as Mystique, confessed all her past deeds to the United States Congress & Senate. She described all her crimes to them and only got a timely sentence in a mental institution named Riker's in the outskirts of New York. Their she was tested to see the after math of being stuck with the cure.

Congress & Senate were filled with outraged as they discussed how easily mutants could disguise and infiltrate their ranks. They pondered if it was so easy for Mystique to disguise herself as Senetor Kelly, what would stop her or other's with similar talents to do the same with even more powerful political figures? After much deliberation and support from the American people, the Congress and Senate were able to institutionalize the Mutant Registration Act.

With it the non-mutant's felt more safer and protected, while other's urged the act wasn't enough. So then Congress easily was able to stabalize a special police unit called The Order. They were speacily trained to deal with mutants out of control and held very mutant-harmful weapons. The Order were even legalized to carry a certain temporary cure. Within the first couple of months the Order had done more harm then good, at least for mutants. The cure they carried around might have been temporary but gave horrid side effects to certain mutants.

After much mutant and mutant sympathizers protesting the goverment had to come up with a new way to keep mutants safe, as well as regular humans. Why hadn't they thought about this earlier? They came up with a law that would give the goverment the power to deport trouble making mutants to a place refered to as District X. They called the law the Relocating Act.

Mutants across the United States were outraged. How could the so called land of the free just deport them for a crime? For the Relocating Act could be enstated to any muatnt believed to be a threat or has/had been convicted for a crime (Even for just stealing gum or J walking). Angered, riots broke out through out the United States, one of the worst riots resulted in Bayville, New York. Much life was loss in the riots both the human and mutant side.

A force of radical mutants, including memeber's of the Acolytes and Brotherhood banned together for once and went to free Magneto from his plastic prision. With their leader back the Acolytes and Brotherhood set on a full massive scale of destruction on various goverment institutions. Finally the moment they had been waiting for, the goverment finally was moraly able to establish the Final Resolution Act, which gave law enforcement and the Order, unlimited power against any mutant threat. It also gave a re-birth to William Stryker's Weapon X program, which would give powerful, controlled enforcer's for the Final Resolution Act.

To find runaway mutants a group of brilliant scientist created genetically mutated dogs. They are able to track down level one and two mutants only, but in some rare cases they can track up to level four mutants. The muatnt population is at a crossroad. Their leader's are divided on how to deal with the crisis at hand. Most mutants are even to scared to get out of their homes for fear of being dragged away to the concenration camps referred as District X.

The world is at war, Humans vs. Mutants with who will you side?
