I'd suggest check out your local dealer/s, See which brands are within convenent travel for you. Not necessarily advising to buy from a dealer's used stock, but it's worth a look anyway... If you do buy from a dealer you have a comeback if there is damp or other problems, for a short while at least. If you buy private, it's your look out.
Don't forget the unscrupulous tea leaves possibility for a private buy... You could always take the caravan ID (VIN) if available and check with HPI if there's a problem. (A cost is involved there, I think,,,)
Also see if there's a private mobile caravan service/repair person that covers your area - could be cheaper!
Finally, caravanning has taken off this year. My local two dealers have vastly reduced used stock available. Unless they are waiting for the 2010 models to arrive...
