Metroid Prime 3 Corruption 9.9/10

Super C 9.5/10

Mario Strikers Charged 8.7/10

Intro
-------------
The Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess, was supposed to be released as a GCN title. However, Nintendo held its release date back a year to transport it to the Wii as a launch title. The game is available to both Wii and GCN and there isnt much of difference between the two. Set as an indirect sequel to Ocarina of Time/ Majoras Mask, Twilight Princess show the more graphical mature Link in whcih the GCN's Wind Waker did not, dissapointing fans. (Wind Waker was still a very good game).

Story
---------------
Like all Zelda titles, they all have a long, complex, engaging story line. This one is no exception. I wont try to spoil it much but here is how it starts off. Link lives in the neighboring province of Hyrule, Ordona. He is sent to deliver a sword to Hyrule Castle as a gift from the Ordons. However, Links friend gets captured by some bandits, Link chases after them and soon finds out that part of the woods he has once lived in is taken over a mysterious force, the Twilight Realm. upon entering the Twilight Realm, Link turns into a Wolf. I wont go on much from there but it is truely complex. Like all Zelda games, Link goes through many transformations, Ocarina of time; Adult Link, Majoras Mask; Deku Link (And more) Minish Cap; Mini Link. But this game actually has him turning into a ful fledged animal. I will talk about the controls later. However, the stroy is a little cliched.

Overall 9.5/10

Gameplay
------------------
The gameplay to start off is intuitive. You swing your sword with the Wii remote (GCN version (I suppose you use the A button to attack). Shake your nunchuck to perform a spin attack and poitn with the Wii remote to shoot arrows or aim tour boomerang. All the button pressing works fine too as well as the camera will always give you a good view of Link so you dont get lost. Plus controlling Link on horse back is much funenr than in Ocarina of time. plus you can do something new, combat on it!.

These are Lizalfoses... some of these designs werent used in the final game.

Overall 10/10

Music
------------------
The music by Koji Kondo is well orcastrated. Sadly there wasn't the traditional Hyrule overworld themes song but this one still works out nicely. There are some new music installments as well as classical remixes from Ocarina of Time ( Some are hard to notice). As you may know, my revieew on music isn't long all the time so I am gonna end it quick.

Overall 9.8/10

Graphics

The Graphics are a sight to behold on the Wii. Its graphics compare very well too Metroid Prime 3 corruptions graphics (if not maybe better)

The Twilight Realm before movement to the Wii.

The Twilight realm as you see from above, is gray and kind of boring. But if you look under here....

Twilight Realm after movement too Wii.

So if you can compare the two, you will see it was probably better changing the looks of the Twilight realms dark and gloomy atmosphere. However the overworld that is not covered in twilight is spot on.

The overworld

The characters and monsters of the Twilight and overworld couldnt look much better. The mature setting is what fans have been asking for.

Overall 10/10

Overall the game is what fans have been truely rooting for. the debate to see if this game surpasses Ocarina of Time (Claimed as the best Zelda ever, but to me Wind Waker is!) would be to hard even for the jury to make.

Story 9.5/10
Gameplay 10/10
Music 9.8/10
Graphics 10/10

Overall 9.9/10

Thanks all for reading!!!!!!!

Well, I guess you are good reviewer. I don't have either Wii or this game, but the review makes me kind of want it. Too bad, I doubt I'll be getting a next gen system any time in the next couple months, though one for Christmas is always possible. ninja.gif

Hahaha thanks Silver. I really suggest getting a Wii. Its sales over the holiday season will dominate.

Question... do you have a Gamecube (I'm sure you do) and if so, could you rent (or buy because TS2 isn't that expensive, anymore because it came out in 2002) review Timesplitters 2 or Future Perfect, but 2 might be better, as most series vets and non-TS fans prefer it to TS: FP. I would like to see a review from a non-TS fan. ninja.gif

Thanks, I want to know a non-TS fan's opinion. As far as I know it, most of the reviews on Gamefaqs are done by fans of the game. ninja.gif

It was too easy...and short...not enough fill. Graphics replaced the game.
