- Wolf -
I am the Wolf.
I run swift as the wind,
Graceful and strong,
As my claws beat on the hard earth,
Scraping marks soon erased by the shifting world.
The blizzards hiss my way,
The rain falls upon my muzzle,
The stones cut my paws,
And the forest bars my path.
I weave beneath the trees.
Prey slips beneath my paws,
I'm confused, misunderstood,
Rejected.
But nothing can stand in my way.
Toward freedom,
Toward the wild,
That's bonded to my soul.
I am wild.
For I am the Wolf.

- Catch the Moon -
It glows, round and full,
I reach and reach, across the starless sky,
But the winds don't carry me far enough,
High enough, to catch that glowing orb.
The others laugh at my foolishness,
But I know better.
I know I can catch it, if I try,
And I try, letting the winds carry me,
As they finally decide they'll help me.
And then I trap it, enclose it.
Within my claws, I show the others its beauty and wonders,
But the light fades away,
For they night is no longer beside it.
I watch in vain as my prize slowly fades,
Becoming one with the darkness it was kin to,
And I throw it back in the sky,
And my eyes look on, because suddenly,
It glows, round and full.

- Spinning -
The world is spinning,
Everything's a blur,
And I can't stop moving,
Even when the voices cry for me,
I can't hear them,
Then I know the voices
Are me.
