Chapter 1-1, Complete your basic training

[Elzior]

OOC: Here's how the game will work for now. This is the story section, in which you create your story. I will narrate part of it until it comes to a crossroads, where you interact. Reply with your part of the story that comes afterwards. NOTE: The entire game will NOT work this way. It is only the story part of the game. But this part is VERY important. The sooner you reply, the faster you move through the game. Good luck all ye players!

IC: You wake up in a ratty old shack where an old man is watching you. He pulls the brown cloak from his head to reveal an excessively wrinkly face. But there's still kindness and power in his bright blue eyes.

"Welcome to The Academy. You look very sleepy. But it's time to get up and begin your training. But first we must confirm your information ... what are you studying here at the academy? (Strength, Agility, or Magick) What is your allegiance to the throne? (Alliance or Goblin) Also, what three skills are you best at? (See list of skills under the new game post)"

The man hands you simple clothes. They are added to your inventory.

OOC: Items are bolded. Out of character comments are marked with OOC and italicized. These are usually important tips for you throughout the game.

"Oh! I almost forgot! What was your name again?"

[BlackKnight]

I'm not sure if I am doing this right but. My name is Sapien Gule my father was a Knight. After 22 long years of marriage my father realized my mother was a witch. He was ordered to kill her, after that my father told me to that my mothers dieing wish was for me two take up magic. so I have joined up with the alliance and began to study magick.

[Krayt]

"My name is Gene Seras. I'm behind the Alliance flag, and am here to further my studies in Strength.

I'm good with Swordsman, Guard, and Spearman. After that, well, that's why I'm here, you know."

[Bobby5]

" My name is Artur Hawking. I am behind the Alliance flag, and am here to furthur my studies in Agility. I am good with Athelete, Flying and cunning. After that, well, thats why I am here, you know."

[Cypher]

"Mine is Marcanz Dechaney. I am here to study agility - I find that speed and cunning can overpower strength easily."

[Elzior]

"Such diversity! Well, what's that Mr. Dechaney and Mr. Gule? I didn't catch your three best skills. Perhaps you'll find your calling later. Anyways -- oop it appears a few students are still sleeping -- follow me. We will meet in the main court of the castle where you will be marked with a sign"

OOC: Important words and clues will be highlighted in red.

IC: "Leave those other students to sleep. They can meet us in the main court and confirm their information later. For now, to the court!"


At the court ...

You pass through many hallways, pictures of great queens and kings. You look around at the students around you ... already you can tell there's one among them you don't like, but you've forgotten his name. When you reach the court you stare in awe at the beautiful tapestries an the magnificent throne, ornamented with rampant lions carved of pure gold. Red velvet carpet leads up to the grand chair, which is strangely missing.
"Don't know if you've heard yet, but the king is missing. As High Priest, I take over when he's gone. He has no heirs right now ... which is a problem, as he is getting old. Perhaps the throne will pass to one of you. You must prove yourselves worthy though. Sapien Gule, you may come with me down the hall to begin your basic magic training. The rest of you wait here for your masters to arrive. But before I leave, does anyone have any questions? Regarding the king, or studies, or anything else? It's my duty to make you feel at home here at The Academy."

[Krayt]

Gene follows the old wise man to the court, and listens to all he has to say, nodding absently whenever he says something that might be important.

What an eccentric old fart. I hate old people. He thinks as his eyes flow from tapestry to glorious tapestry.

"Questions?" He says at last, "Yeah, one. When do we get our iron?"

OOC: Iron = weapons

[Elzior]

"In time, Mr. Seras, in time. In fact, your package should already be delivered. Those that are practicing strength should best get back to their rooms. Something is waiting for you. Mr. Gule, come with me ..."

[Krayt]

I love presents. Gene thought as he turned back to his room.

[Elzior]

OOC: LOL ....little did he know it was a ZOMBIE!

[Cypher]

"Um, sir? I've decided on my specialties: Athlete, Martial Artist, and Cunning."

OOC: I'm going Altair Fanboy here.

[BlackKnight]

" Um sir, I am a master sorcerer, postion master, and cojurer. I am eager to begin my training and expand my knowledge of magick. Um well sir is it okay if I ask where we're going

[Elzior]

OOC: lol, nice brady.

IC: "You, Mr. Gule, are headed down this hall with me to the Enchanted Gardens, where you will begin practicing your skills in the study of Magick. First go back to your room; a package is waiting for you. Then meet me at the Gardens as soon as possible.
As for you, Mr. Dechaney, there should also be something in your room. Once you've recieved it well ... you'll know what to do."

[BlackKnight]

"I'll be in the gardens in just a second sir, I want my present."

[Bobby5]

"Sir, Why am I the only one left?"
