When metal weapons or armor are quenched in watered down fey blood instead of water, oils and clay the metal takes on a few special properties.
General: Any Feyblood Forged weapon, armor or shield imposes a -8 to any Charisma related skill check (except Intimidation) made against a Fey creature of any kind. Hostile Fey creatures are likely to attack the wearer or wielder without provocation, intending on taking the feyblood forged item or killing the person with it and taking the item anyway.
Armor:
X: This lustrous metal carries a mother-of-pearl gleam and shows all the colors of the spectrum when light strikes it. Confused by untrained mortals for mithral on occasion, feyblood forged armor is quite potent and to the fey, it is an insult to behold.
$: Light Armor 700 gold, Medium Armor 1300 gold, Heavy Armor 2000 gold, Shield 300 gold.
Light Armor: +1 Deflection bonus to AC, +2 Will saves vs. Fey creature's SP and +1 vs. Fey creature's SU
Medium Armor: +2 Deflection bonus to AC, +2 Will saves vs. Fey creature's SP and +1 vs. Fey creature's SU
Heavy Armor: +3 Deflection bonus to AC, +2 Will saves vs. Fey creature's SP and +1 vs. Fey creature's SU
Shield: +2 Will saves vs. Fey creature's SP and +1 vs. Fey creature's SU
Weapon:
X: Feyblood forged weapons hum and sing once they have been drawn from their sheeth or cinch and glimmer with a dazzling prismatic glow after they strike an opponent, humming louder for just a moment. These weapon are unmistakable for what they are, though few would ever their origin.
$: Weapon Max Damage 4: 600 gold, 9: 1200 gold, 13: 1800 gold, 18+: 2400 gold
4: Considered Ghost Touch against undead only, +1 damage against Fey creatures
9: Considered Ghost Touch against undead only, +1 damage against Fey creatures and undead
13: Considered Ghost Touch against undead and Fey creatures, +2 damage against Fey creatures and undead
18+: Considered Ghost Touch against undead and Fey creatures, +2 damage against Fey creatures and undead, weapon ignores DR of Fey creatures
Tools: When used in tools (i.e. forging hammer and anvil, chiseling set, paint brush and pallette) the tools will only show their glimmer to the person who is using them at the time. These tools cost an additional 200 gold and give the user a circumstancial bonus of +5 to the associated skill check.
Tools unlike armor and weapons are sometimes made by Fey creatures themselves to give to mortals or be used by their artisans for great works of art. The blood need to forge metal tools is much less than the blood needed to make armor and weapons, which is enough to kill most Fey creatures. Make no mistake, these tools are still rare and not given to mortals lightly.
:P I saw the title and thought "What?...Fey-Blooded Warforged?"
This looks cool...another point for the Cold Iron/Anti-Fey side. Gotta have anti-fey stuff.
I am a little confused by the "X", "$," "4," "9," "13," and "18+" business...shorthand notes?
yeah just quick type:
$ was the cost
X was for description
and the numbers are for the amount of damage the weapon deals at maximum (having that change the effect instead of the weapon type)
