You know, I'm actually a little unsure if they have real mouths or not. I've kind of avoided saying anything definitive one way or the other, just 'cos I don't want to write myself into a corner at any point. However, I can only get away with that because of the quirks of my art style. Anybody who draws faces that look weird without mouths would do well to just leave 'em in. Even then, though, they'd need to be small, emotionless mouths, otherwise THAT'D look weird too.
As for Alphonse's name... you know, I'm really not sure. I MIGHT have picked the name up from FMA, but it wasn't a conscious choice. (neither was "Avatar" for that matter) I was just looking for a name that sounded a little clunky and "uncool." Anyway, Drunkduck's finally letting me load files again, so the pictures should be up on the site tomorrow! YAY!!! |
