yah, my uncle shot himself once (accidently), he was in a cowboy shooting club and was doin a quick draw and shot himself in the calve (or is it calf?) i dont think it was anything too serious, but I imagine he had to go to the hospital. yah, and with a .22 I wouldnt hunt anything bigger than a rabbit, but squirell are pretty fun to hunt, and easy (compared to game like deer or turkey) but still challenging enough to be fun, and it tastes pretty good

personally I've never cleaned anythin more than a fis, but I've seen deer cleaned multiple times in person, and Ive seen other game cleaned on tv. Most of it's done the same way. Typically you make a cut from the groin all the way up to near the throat (being carefull not to cut any of the innards) then you open the cut and let the blood drain a bit, then start removing the innard. That's bout as much as I can remember, but I know when you're skinning it you typically start at the inner thigh and just start tearing it all off in 1 big pelt and cutting anywhere where tissue is holding onto the hide. and I have like 0 experience with butchering the meat, so I couldnt help u there
