UD Live-Action/CGI Flick Progresses, OR Our Hero is Getting Shafted...Slowly

Here is the article about the new voice of Underdog (BLAS-FUCKIN'-PHEMY!), and here is an article about the new face of beloved/behated mad scientist-type villain Simon Bar Sinister.

Jason Lee isn't a terrible choice (don't forget, they could've just as easily chosen Brendan Fraiser), but at least... nah, fuck it, it'll suck no matter what. Maybe at least for a month we'll see a UD revival, but there's no hope for it. Especially as a LA-CG flick.

Yeah, all things considered, UD has been making quite a few modern appearances, i.e. Superbowl commercial, political cartoon, not-so-kid-friendly-television show.

Maybe it'll be like circa the premiere of the Passion of the Christ (or just Easter), when all the documentary-centric channels pump out their xian-themed stuff -- and right before the film comes out, CN will have more UD marathons...

How that would rock...

That'd be great. The VCR would explode from taping, but great nonetheless.
