((Okay, quick intro on how this is sorta gonna work, Eilaer is running, Hikari will somehow save her from whatever she is running from. Once they know each other's names it is open to you Kay to actually come in, you can quietly observe all you want until then, and once all three have met I don't care who joins.))
She was running quickly through woods, not in a frantic manner, but in a way that showed that this run was not from whatever was chasing her, but something she had to do. ‘What am I running from, and why?’, she thought. A look of concern entered her face. She knew who she was and where she was, little else of seeming importance entered her mind. The padding of feet sounded behind her steadily.
She heard what sounded like four feet, whether from one creature or two was unknown. ‘What was she supposed to do?’, the thought had entered her mind and the answer was immediate. She was supposed to run. That didn’t tell her much, and the only reason she wasn’t laughing was because the same instinct that told her she was supposed to be running was constantly telling her that it was dangerous.
She had run for ten and a half minutes, a timer in her mind counting off. She was starting to feel her stamina begin to slowly drain. She was about to think about where she was supposed to run when she saw a silvery light though the trees in front of her. There, her mind told her. As if she had done it many times before, she ran through the brush to see a different girl sitting up on the ground as if she had just awoken, and then she stopped. The feeling in her mind was gone, no longer dictating her movements.
She looked around quickly, finding that she had two swords in sheaths around her waist. She remembered the thing chasing her and how she only knew it was dangerous. The girl she had just found seemed defenseless, and yet her body would budge other than to show a look of concern. The feeling was exerting one last command upon her, forbidding her to attack what was chasing her. She wasn’t supposed to protect the girl, the girl was to protect her.

Darkness...Light...Darkness...Light...
She was wavering in and out of consciousness at the time, and she fought it off as long as possible - wanting to sleep just a bit longer - in fact, she half expected that when she opened her eyes she would find the world around her. She would be curled in her own bed, safely tucked away in her own room. Just down the hallway from her room, her parents would be yelling for her to wake up before she missed the bus. And yet, she didn't want to awake from the dreams of the night. She wanted to feel the warmth from the blanket and stay hidden for a few more minut4es. Surely she could waste a few more minutes. After all, she had plenty of time to get ready for school.
But the warmth she had felt only seconds before was slowly draining from her body. Almost by magic the warmth had disappeared and was quickly replaced by cold. Almost as if she weren't inside her room at al. The soft sounds of music from her stereo had disappeared and were soon replaced by a rustling of leaves from nearby. And if that wasn't enough instead of the usual softness of her own bed, she felt something itchy and poking at her skin. Like tiny pins were being pokes at her for some reason. She was on the verge of waking up, and still wanting to be asleep.
Perhaps all of this was just a joke. Perhaps if she got lucky her younger brother was the one messing with her in hopes that she would wake up. The coldness meant he had taken off the blankets she had wrapped herself in during the night, no music coming from her stereo certainly meant he had turned it off - something he had done before knowing it would wake her up - and the poking sensation was surely his new method of getting her to wake up.
But as she opened her eyes to the world around her, Hikari didn't find herself in her own room. If anything this new place was anything but her house. She was in the middle of some large area, surrounded by only the grass and the trees around.
Her soft gray eyes are filled with concern and worry as she examines the area. Where was she? What happened? She didn't remember leaving her house the previous night, so then how did she end up there? As her eyes scanned their surroundings, they landed on someone. At least someone was there with her. Perhaps they would know where she was.
"Where am I?" she asked quietly.
And almost the second she got the words out of her mouth did realization hit her. That girl...This place...She had seen it somewhere. That girl...She had dreams about her...For two weeks straight. She was always running from something, but Hikari didn't know what. And the place...This place was part of the dream...So that should have meant she was still dreaming. It was all just a dream...Or was it...?

Eilaer felt oddly calm, as if she knew that whatever it was chasing her would not be able to harm her. She looked at the girl, a familiar feeling engulfed her. "You are in Somnium."
She was about to continue but the footsteps grew louder, coming ever closer. Eilaer looked back the way she came, unable to tell what it was that was chasing her. Her brow furrowed in confusion, what was it chasing them? Why could she hear it so well, and yet was unable to tell what it was when she could see it. She couldn't tell if it was a person or a beast, whether it was small or large.
She felt frozen in place, looking between the girl and the oncoming creature. She wanted to say soething, to do something, and yet she couldn't. A feeling of not being there, as if she was viewing the events through a portal.

Somnium. She was in a place called Somnium and yet the name didn't ring a bell. She hadn't heard of it. As far as she could remember, she never knew of a place called Somnium from any of her classes. And she couldn't remember seeing it on a map anywhere, though with her luck she could have missed it somewhere along the way. She did after all pay very little attention in History class, so it would make sense that she didn't remember the place. Perhaps it was a place. But the question was how did she get there? Unless she was still dreaming, but it didn't feel like a dream.
Hikari sutdied the other girl - or elf - for a minute. There was something odd about this girl and yeth she didn't think much of it for the time being. There was something strange. Nearby Hikari could hear sounds of something approaching, and she doubted very much whether it was a human. It didn't sound human at all. Perhaps this was why the girl looked so anxious? She was running from the creature! But of course! It was always the same dream. Hikari had been dreaming about it for two weeks. A girl was running from something but she never found out what it was because she would always wake up from said dream. But this time it looked like she would get to see the beast. Which meant they had t fight it off somehow. They needed to fight the beast somehow. Get rid of it.
'If only I had something useful to fight it off with...' Hikari thought to herself as she stood up. And it was almost as if by magic, as if someone had magically just read her mind that a sword appeared on the ground below her. She looked down in confusion, but realized she could ask questions later she picked up the sword. Having no prior experiance with a weapon, it felt slightly awkward to be holding a sword, and yet it seemed natural to her.
Stepping passed the girl, Hikari stopped a little away from where the girl was. She waited a little bit until she could clearly see the beast in isght. She waited another couple of seconds until it got close enough before she lifted the sword and brought it down on the beast, slicing cleanly through it's body, almost cutting it in half.
Instantlly she expected to see some kind of blood, or some trace that it was dead. But it didn't come. Almost as if it was some kind of cartoon, the beast simply split into two before falling to the ground. This seemed slightly odd to Hikari but she didn't want to ask why yet. Instead, she turned back to the girl, asking the questions that was now starting to bother her.
"What's Somnium?"

Eilaer looked relieved, as if she had become unstuck from the spot. It didn't seem so much as an eotional response as a factual response though. She looked at the girl, no real expressions comeing from her, "This is Somnium, it is everything. The earth and the ocean annd all they contain are the lands of Somnium, and you are not native from here." However, as weird as it was for her, she knew she was a native to the land.
Was this explanation sufficient or did she want more information? She knew there was a villiage nearby and that if they traveled for a few days they could reach the edge of the mountains or the ocean. They were about a week from the deep woods and she knew multiple routes to get to each place. She new where towns were, but no idea the names of any of them save one. She could tell you what group of people generally lived where and knew no one.
She chose to ask and did so in her weird emotionally devoid way, "What specifically do you wish to know?" She eyed the sword, knowing more specifically about that then she did about the world itself. She decided she would have been better suited to explain the intricacies of that instead of those about the world. It appeared to be a fine blade, based on what it did to the creature. The creature itself seemed more focused to her all of a sudden, but that was until it dissolved into nothing behind the girl. Eilaer though nothing of it.

The forest was as silent as the nighttime, only it wasn’t as dark, and the sky wasn’t bedazzled with bright, shining stars. The tall trees rose up like mountains into the pine-scented air. Birds were up in the trees, singing cool songs to lullaby the nocturnal creatures in the forest to sleep, and to make up most others. The forest was breathing, clear and smooth into the daytime. The sun was rising up and over the long, twine-like branches of the trees.
It had been a long while since Celeborn had left his home with the Wood Elves and the forest that he and his family had once called home. He had no one now, and he would never have anyone. He would surrender himself to the darkness soon enough, he had decided. He had been traveling for who knows how long. There was no clear pathway in the forest, yet he had a keen sense of where he was headed at this point in time.
Celeborn stood tall among the trees. The smarter ones glanced at him warily as he passed, yet he took no notice to them. His cloak was pulled up over his shoulders, and his hood was drawn loosely over his head. He had been wearing it like that since nightfall of the previous night, and dew was already forming on the back of it. His boots squished through the dew-sodden grass on the floor of the forest. Behind him, his horse followed without a lead. Twilight knew who he was to follow, and there was no purpose in putting ropes around his horse’s neck.
Suddenly, the young elf heard a conversation that was being held not ten yards away from him. He stood in the dark shadow of a large (and greatly out of place) Willow Tree. There must have been a body of water near, Celeborn concluded in finding out that the tree was laden with much water. He closed his hand, covering up the X-shaped scar in the palm, and held it to his side yet again. Celeborn wasn’t listening to their conversation, but deciding what to do next.
There were two girls. One of which looked as if she had never seen this place before in her life. There was a sword in her hand. It intrigued Celeborn, for it was neither Elf nor Dwarf made. He had never seen such a specimen before. Below the girl was a dead monster of some sort. Somehow, she had killed it, and Celeborn had no idea how she was able to pull it off. He sighed quietly and leaned into the Willow, much to its discomfort, and listened intently, Twilight calmly laying in some brush not two feet away from the Wood Elf.

This is Somnium, it is everything. The earth and the ocean annd all they contain are the lands of Somnium, and you are not native from here."
The words had been from the stranger girl, the one Hikari had just barely met only minutes before when she had to save her from some creature. Oddly enough, though she couldn't explain how she had succeeded in destroying the creature. But there were so many questions she wanted answered. So many questions she just couldn't help but to ask. Why? Why had she been able to just think of the weapon she needed and it magically appear into her hands? Why had she just randomly been able to destroy the creature when she wasn't even sure of how to wield a sword to begin with? It was almost as if she knew how to do it all along.
And what was with this place? What the girl said made no sense. It was the earth adn the ocean and all they contain. Somnium. She knew she wasn't native to Somnium. She had for a few weeks earlier had dreams of the place. And it was weird to find she had magically just appeared there. But what the girl had just said in terms of explaining the new place didn't make too much sense in Hikari's eyes.
"I'm sorry," Hikari apologized to the other, "I still don't understand what this place is. I mean I've been here...In my dreams...But I'm sure I can't be dreaming now. This is to real to be a dream..."
She trailed off at this, her senses taking comple control over her for a time. She could smell off in the distance another person approaching. But the smell it would have been a Wood Elf.
Wait..She didn't know anything about the land around her, so then why did sh eknew the new arrival was some kind of Elf? If at all that was trueL? Surely she coudn't have known that...
As the Elf got closer, she could hear the footsteps coming from not to far behind them. She resisted the urge to turn around and see who was there, and finally having fought her control long enough, Hikari turned her gaze on the Wood Elf who was now leaning against a tree.
"Who are you?" Hikari demanded, her voice a bit mroe colder then she would have liked.

Her eyes smiled, though the rest of her face remained immpassive, "This is real, far more real than most dreams will ever be. You have been looking from the world you came from into this world through yor dreams then, but that should not be possible for one who traversed accross the barrier into this world. I can not explain it as I do not fully understand it myself, no one really does, but I will help as I can as my life is yours to do with as you please."
"Who are you?"
The elf looked at the one who the girl was reffering too, "You know who he is, but he too is not where he belongs to. His kind has not set foot outside of their woods in millenia, but as the time grows closer to the event they will come out again." Eilaer did not know how she knew these things, the words came on their own as if someone was giving her the answers.
Something about the newcomer didn't settle with her very well either. He had a darker feeling than she thought he should have, but couldn't put a finger on what or why she got this feeling. Before she knew exactly what was going on she had her blades out and ready for combat. She did it all silently and stood behid the girl where she would not be seen by her in a postion that was purely defensive. She would only fight if the newcomer forced her too or if she was told to by the girl, but she did not want to let the girl know she was on edge because this person as he had really given no reason to distrust him.
It was all just a visible message sayng she would not allow the girl to be harmed, not a challenge for combat. And yet it was not meant to be seen by the one who would be affected sot by it, the whole idea behind it swirled in her ind, the only constant was her total lack of emotion. It was a rock on her beach of sand, something that she could count on to not change ntil she had become accustomed to everything, only then would her rock become malliable she hoped. By then she would no longer feel as if she was standing in sand but on firm ground.

Celeborn’s eyes flicked between the two girls that were standing in the forest. The one that had defeated the monster was standing in her place in awe, as if she had no idea how she could have pulled off a stunt like that. She turned to the other girl and apologized about something. ‘It figures about women,’ he thought ‘They don’t stay on one subject for long.’ Suddenly, though, the girl turned to him and he stood where he was, stunned that she could have noticed his being there. His eyes turned to slits, as he backed up, more into the shadow.
The girl that had just spoken to him was as unique as a purple shadow, drowning in the depths of the blue-green sea. She had to have been one of the most beautiful non-elvish creature he had ever laid his eyes on. The girl stood at a moderately tall form for a woman, with fair skin. Celeborn’s eyes landed on her ebony hair that had been pulled back to reveal her facial features. Grey eyes pierced the Elf’s own as they stared ache other down.
Then, the other girl started to talk. He couldn’t help but turn his eyes to her. “How much of sheer cowardice fills your heart, heathen? Or shall I be the one to defeat you without hesitation? You have no thought of who I am, and so back down before I decide that your life is not worth the living,”he said, his deep voice filling the forest and caressing the trees and branches.

There was something different about the newcomer that had awoken something deep inside Hikari. A new feeling had roused just at looking at his soft features. She could feel a sort of dark aura around him, but it was something she had been willing to look passed. The newcomer had what appeared from the darkness he chose to hide behind was long blond hair that would have gleamed in the sunlight if he would have just set foot outside of the darkness which he thought best to cower behind. Though, she dared not say anything about this fact as if she had been afraid of hurting his feelings. But rather this was completely ture was not for herself to decide. Looking now deep into his soft eyes, Hikari found nothing but the jade color. He chose to show not of any emotion he might have felt at the time and perhaps it had been for the best.
Her thoughts were soon interrupted as she turned back to Eilaer who had spoken something about how she knew him. But this simply couldn't be true. She knew not of this strange world she found herself in, and she knew not of the two people that had graced her presence. So why did it seem as though she knew them already? Something deep within herself wanted to burst out telling her it was true. Something just wanted to tell her she did know the two of them. She felt now somewhat awkward, being unable to put a face to a name to either of them now.
Her gaze shifted away from the girl to return to the mysterious elf in front of her. Though it wasn't from the radiant glow she felt about him this time that had caused her to look in his direction. More of the simple fact that he had spoken up for the first time. His voice though booming through the forest.
Again, Hikari turned her gaze back to the one she had just saved and found she had osmehow gotten hold of a bow. She spoke again to the mysterious stranger, and almost instantlly Hikari felt more so out of place then usual.
Stepping forward, Hikari stood between the two of them, acting almost as a wall to the two of them, holding her hands out almost to protect the both of them from getting hurt in a fight.
"Do thy need to quarrel when there are more pressings matters at hand?" Hikari questioned, her gaze now on Eilaer. She allowed this question to sink in for a moment before turning back to their newcomer, "The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself a fool." again she allowed a brief pause for this to sink in before continuing, "Neither of you know not of why I am here. And to no end will I be searching for the answers. But to an end, cease the fights for a time. There shall be plenty more times we will cross paths, for that I am sure."

Eilaer looked at the girl with a confused look, "Surely you know why you are here, or am I the only one?" She knew the girl came from somewhere she herself would never be able to travel, and she knew that the girl had somehow placed her in that world. It made no sense, but she knew this girl was different, tha she was here to be the turning point for something far greater. If she did not know this yet, then Eilaer was not the one to tell her. But it was for later, the other still posed danger in her mind, "I can't allow you to be harmed by him, but his kind is one of their word and if he swears no harm will come of you by his hand I will cease my actions, but anything less and I will not."
Eilaer was confused for another reason, his ind was not generally the type to have the dark aura she felt behind him. While she knew his kind was protective of their territorry among other things, he seemed to fit almost none of the things she knew of his race. Was he different, as uniques as she was to the others of this world? She would have to wait as tie woould eventually tell all.

The elf man eyed the girl as a blue light came from her arm, forming a bow and arrow. This magic was strange to him, and he wondered if it was pure energy that was forming the weapon that was now in her hands. Suddenly, his eyes flicked back toward Eilaer’s eyes. “How am I to be accused of coming here to harm anyone or thing. It is times like these that the trees shudder at your peoples lack of grace and violence. I know now why I was so afraid to leave,” said Celeborn. The girl in front of him was standing still, determined. Though, he was not afraid of what she was capable of doing.
The girl with long black hair intrigued Celeborn. It was strange, as because she was there, he felt less likely to want to fight with the other girl. It hurt him and made confusion start mulling around in his head as he tried to pull up the courage to pull a weapon on Eilaer. It seemed as if the longer he looked into her eyes, the harder it became to pull himself out. If this was what was in store for him if he was going to fight them, then – much to his discontent – there was a chance that he wasn’t going to end victorious. At least he could still keep the emotionless glaze over his face and not slip up.
As the girl stepped in between them both, Celeborn finally felt rage bellow up inside of him. Who was this girl to stand in front of him and stop their fight. It was dishonorable to him and Hikari. She had no right to halt them in their struggling. His hands turned to fists as she spoke, as if she had more knowledge than he. His brows knitted together as she spoke, realizing to himself that this was true but not letting anything show beneath his glaze. He let out a breath as he snapped his fingers, and Twilight came out from behind the tree. Celeborn gathered some of his mane in his fingers, ready leave when the other girl started to speak.
Suddenly, Celeborn smiled malevolently, a small chuckle echoing through the trees and they shuddered. His hand was brought up to his face and it was thrust out quickly, showing his Cursed Palm to them both. “Oh, but I am apart from them now. Do you not fear that of which you do not understand? I have no knowledge of this girl– ” He lied. “ – And as of which I have no need to heed her. Would you trust one of which has left his oh so ‘trustworthy’ kind?” he asked and pulled himself up on Twilight. “You people are ignorant.”
