finally.....i have time to show off my proud collection which i'm just starting up. if anyone was following what Nano-Nano and i were talking about in another thread, i felt the urge to start collecting figures of the nanoha series only. well, finally took some pics and (as the thread title says).....BEHOLD!!

user posted image

yes!! the nanoha/fate figures are side by side finally! the two in the front are from strikers while the ones in the back are their a's counterparts. unfortunately, fate's bardiche zamber form couldn't fit in the pic because it's sooo freakin long (i love it!). gotta love strikers fate

user posted image

next up is the actually display area of my nanoha collection. on the top is where the figures will go (those boxes on the sides came from the strikers figures. it's so cool because it has the nifty stars and lightning team symbols on top) while the bottom is where the future dvd collection will start. i already ordered the first vol. so it should be filling up at least once a month with new volumes.

user posted image

just for the heck of it, i took a shot of the other side of my room since it's kind of changed since the last time i showed you guys. yes, i've made full use of the wall and the whole area to boot. the calander came in handy to fill up the blank spaces on the wall. of course the mangas are still on the desk and the Hirano Aya section got bumped down to the second and third shelf with good reason. and that reason is the following......

user posted image

ooo that hurts. such a perfect set up that i had to bump my precious Aya shrine for this. now i just have to figure out what i'll do once the third GAII game comes out.

user posted image

and of course my lovely Aya collection is below the GA shelf. the magazines i ordered paid off beautifully for this display. it actually spilled onto the very bottom shelf but i didn't bother taking that pic. i still have her neophilia and monstar cd to throw in there as well as one more magazine that she appears on the cover to somehow fit in here.

.....and that's about it. i would take more but....well.....i probalby wouldn't have space left for more pictures. it was fun doing this seeing as how most people won't understand my collection except for those here on our forums (well...i think my family already know about Aya plenty enough already, heh). time to show your guys's stuff! i'll be waiting!

woah, for my pics to make someone clean up their room is a bit unexpected. well, it all turns out good in the end anyways for all of us then huh.

i'm curious to see how yours and Likkun's is like though. i've never really seen anyone's figure collection in real life so makes me wonder what a real collector's collection is like. this is mainly what this thread was created for anyways, to show off your stuff.

It's just that how you display your room it just cool (if you are a GA fan and/or anime fan... if you are not... then they might think it's just creepy... tongue.gif ) PLUS... it's very organized... I REALLY need to clean my room and display my stuff! because right now my room looks really dull!

and my artbook just got here!
some of the padding they used was japanese newspapers..... WOAH!...... it's going to take a LOOONG time until I can fully understand/read japanese newspapers..... just seeing it gives me a headache! dry.gif too much kanji!

well, my items are safework stuff so there's nothing really to be ashamed of there. the way i see it is no different from how people have football team goods plastered over their walls with jerseys, flags, helmets, etc. it's funny though because that side of the room is all decorated while the area behind me when i took those pics is all empty (colorful v.s. monotone in a sense). oh.....come to think of it, there's one more thing i forgot to take a pic of. i'll put that up later.

geh.....you actually noticed that. yeeeah.....that holds some kind of bitter memories. it's one of those gifts that i was not able to give to a certain someone (wonder why i kept it.......probably because it would've been such a waste if i threw it).

this one is from behind my door.....or the side of the door that my room is in. and guess who's there? that's right....SHIRAISHI MINORU!!!! i NEVER would put a guy's poster up in any room of mine, but minoru was exempted because that pin up made me laugh like no tomorrow.

heheh, yeah my love*gun cd is pretty nice to have even though i don't listen to it since i have the mp3 already. now i have to make space for neophilia and monstar.

Seeing that uragyduck, that couldn't have been cheap, could it have? Those are all full size figures so that had to have put some serious hurt on your wallet.

Eh, my figure CD is far from impressive. The only bragging point I have would be to lay out my entire GA CD collection or something like that.

I'm the same as Nano-Nano though. I have things I need to display but no area where to display them. Once I get my pillowcase (which should be terribly soon) I'll probably take a picture of some newer things in my room. From the last time I did that sort of thing.

とほほ...you got that right Likkun. let's round up and say that it cost me around $150-200 for those 4 with shipping and CA taxes.......but they were so worth it! but i still have 3 more to collect (rein, subaru, and teana). i realized though just how much of a klutz i am though. believe it or not, i dropped every one of them (luckily on a pillow....i took extra measures just in case). i could feel my hand twitching trying to assemble the pieces. fate HAD to just have her head removable. i must admit though, holding bardiche made me feel pretty bad ass though.

and yes, you better take a picture of your pillow. have it placed next to something to compare the sizes of the 2 objects.

Well I just finally cleaned my whole room and put things on display! (I need to dust them off every day as my room is VERY dusty dry.gif ) but other than that It's worth it, my room actually looks better now!

and uragayduck I did the same thing you did with your GA stuff but I used the US released mangas instead! (I don't have the imports sad.gif )

I really want to take pics of my room to show you guys but I still don't have a pc camera...... maybe I should check some stores, pretty much everything is really cheap now with the holidays tongue.gif

and MERRY CHRISTMAS!! GUYS!!

at least they're not the exact same ones that i used or else it wouldn't be an original idea anymore. since you're using the domestic version it still is different, at least the way i see it. i wonder if there's other people who did something similar with Hirano Aya stuff the way i did it or even crazier.

and HOHOHO merry christmas!.....oh wait, i'm sorry. i must've offended someone when i said that. let's rephrase it: HAHAHA merry christmas.......really.....people can be stupid sometimes.

Actually I used the deluxe edition of GA EL (that one cost me a pretty penny but I know I wouldn't regret it! I just LOVE this series! It comes in a really sturdy box, you know hardbook sturdy!) I got the PS2 games when they came out!

plus I displayed them with the GA figures that came with the limited edition vol 1 of the 1st season of GA, plus a import figure of Mint! (1/8 figure that cost me another pretty penny!)

now that reminds me last time I went to anime jungle there was a 1/8 figure of Mint in a school mizugi and I think she had usagi ears....... damn that figure was expensive 80$+

I never saw that figure before in the internet, plus I think the one I have also (only one website had the specific figure of Mint that I have, I search the net but it always leads me to the same website..... plus that website sold out it's 1/8 Milfie and Vanilla figures..... I really wanted that Vanilla figure >_<

nevermind I found the website again! (I sorta forgot where I bought the Mint figure and I wanted to show you guys!)

http://www.atamaii.com/galaxy-angel.html

they been out of stock for a long time now.... I think these figures are not manuafactured anymore..... good thing I got the Mint figure when I had the chance...... but Vanilla!

damn I just saw the Mint figure in ebay going for more than 80$.... well that means I'm really lucky I got her!

hehehehe~~~

Likkun will get a kick out of this..

figures reveal a lot things..... tongue.gif

Goodness, you did a great job arranging all that. It looks very exhibit-y and pleasant. Not at all like my Sea of Decay-esque room.

Yeah, I knew you would never complain once you got the figures, but it always hurts when you first put up the money.

Seeing your room also reminded me that I need to order a new calender. I have no idea what of, but I'm sure I'll find something. I know I saw a Seto no Hanayome calender somewhere, so I may think on that one.

@Nano-Nano
It seems some figures do reveal quite alot. I'm quite skeptical of what to say about that Rico figure. To be perfectly honest on what crossed my mind when I saw that, it was that I never imagined them pink.
