Hey Nano-Nano, not sure if you're still around and reading or not. But any chance you started playing Full Metal Daemon Muramasa? It's Nitro+'s new release this year aside from Sumaga Special.

I literally only made it through the intro so far since I get so little free time, that and the intro being around six hours as well probably didn't help the situation much. But it feels like it's going to be an interesting ride. Might take me quite awhile to finish it though at the rate I'll have to play it.

Yeah I'm still "lurking" here

I already have that new Nitro+ game installed and ready to play and for what little I played (about 15 mins worth) I really like the whole traditional Japanese way of reading things from top to bottom (I already got used of reading that way because my imported Growlanser 4 strategy/character guide was all like that >_<)

And I love the whole widescreen look but I just recently installed Sumaga so I can finally continue where I left off before (in Kiki's route) and I really need to fully finish Sumaga so I can finally play the fandisk (Sumaga Special.....have it somewhere in my HD)

So the intro for FMDM is about 6 hours..... well in my opinion the "intro" for Sumaga was over 60 hours for me if you know what I mean >_<

So what can I expect from the game from your current experience with it?

But I remember what one poster said about the game that kinda put me off from playing it...something about the whole game is actually....well don't know if what he said counted as a spoiler so I won't say anything but I just hope it isn't true....because right now I just want to play a game with at least some comedy in it (like Sumaga) so I can wash off the experience from Dragon Age Origins (PC) the ending got me depressed (even though it was a bitter sweet ending it still pissed me off)

Yeah, the whole using the novel style of reading seemed a little bit of a nuisance at first but as for fitting the style for the game it's perfect. In reality the entire thing is just well presented which is why it's really been growing onto me.

Ah, yeah. I'd definitely recommend getting through Sumaga anyway. I mean I haven't played enough of Muramasa to make any real judgments but I know Sumaga is loads of fun from start to finish. That and of course so you can get through Special as well.

XD That's cheating, even though you're kind of right. But yeah, around 6 hours and then you get to see the opening animation. I mean granted it's packed with a lot of information and gets you introduced to the world in a really strange way. I don't know it felt kind of like a burden for awhile but it hooks you in eventually.

Errm, not sure if you've played much of Nitro+'s older stuff but it's one of their dark plots again. Not going to lie that the game is incredibly depressing and dark from the get go. I mean you're not playing it for the laughs, that's for sure. Granted there's still high spirits in parts of it, I think overall the mood just isn't meant to make you feel happy. So if you want to avoid depression, might want to find something happier first, because Muramasa doesn't look like it's going to be it.

I really needed the Growlanser 4 strategy/character guide you know the game sure has alot of endings @_@ (and one character is only gettable if you have the save file of Growlanser 3 and it only works if the save file is from the import not the localized US version so I had to import it and then managed to get that character at last.....yes I love the Growlanser series that much! )

Well I'm just past the scene of that white knight? (looks like a hornet) kicking that red huge samurai's ass...loved that scene "falling down ladybug" then that 3D CG animation plays.....the 3D CG animations in this are amazing, Nitro+ always delivers in quality!


Oh and I already played most of the old Nitro+ games and finished them!

Carnevale Della Luce Della Luna "The Carnival of the Moonlight" gotta love that Italian is soo similar to Spanish this game in my opinion has the best soundtrack that Nitro+ has ever made and I LOVE Noel (her route was the best!)

Nah what I played of Muramasa right now it hooked me so I'll be playing this for some time now non stop (I obviously will surpass you Likkun on where you currently are in the game) and the soundtrack is giving me "Carnevale Della Luce Della Luna" vibes here so hopefully the soundtrack will be great!

So I'll have to put off Samaga for now (again!) to play Muramasa.... but the pictures I saw of a loli Kiki for the fandisk make it sooo tempting to play and I lol that she really didn't change much in terms of "development" ....and clothes and hair length/style

Wow I just finished the "intro" and you weren't kidding that it was that long >_< (took me about 5 hours and a half to finish...)

And now for my impressions...

First let me get this out of the way.....how did you manage to get trough the "intro" when a specific red headed girl is voiced by the same seiyuu that voiced Komari from Little Busters? I remember you saying that you found her voice irritating

Well other than that the BG CG's are amazing, Nitro+ quality as always
and I should have taken your "warning" more seriously >_< the first thing comes in mind was that teacher standing up for the kids and then helping in their search for their missing friend..... but then finding out that he all along killed their friend to keep her "beauty" from being tainted (that guy is CRAZY!!) and I just want to get this straight..... that whole rape scene really happened right? he basically manipulated the "MC's" male friend to rape their female friend (red head) with that weird power of his to control fluids (blood, water, ect)

But it was confusing when he woke up it looked like she was already raped (that CG made it easy to see) but once he made his friend rape her it obviously showed her losing her virginity (blood) maybe it was a CG error (there is a update patch for the game already...I need to get that soon) and then you got him being forced to urinate on her.... wait were they really killed because after that he swung his sword on both of them and then cue the blood splatter sound effect but after the "rescue" it said that his two friends were taken to the hospital.... not that it matters anyway I'm gonna feel real sorry for his two friends if they are still alive seeing what happens next.

At first I thought "this can't get any worse" first I was awwww the "MC" is thanking Muramasa for what he did and tells him he believes in whatever he is doing is right that justice exists....then you got Muramasa saying "there is no such thing as a crime avenger" then slices his head off >_< (when that happened I can seriously say my heart skipped a beat!) I was like nooooo the "MC" is dead but then found out that Muramasa is the "MC" >_< (it really hurt when the kid's decapitated head was crying and him thinking it's shame that he can't see his "hero" because the tears are in the way)

I just noticed in the beginning somewhere it said "Homicide 13" than after that "scene" it said "Homicide 14".....>_< and check out his other offenses like "Patricide" and to add insult to injury I just remembered in the beginning of the "intro" it said...

「――これは英雄の物語ではない。 (this is not a hero's story.)

then after that "scene" it adds a second verse...

――英雄を志す者は無用である。」 (The person who is trying to become a hero is useless.)

I can't tell who to hate more the "MC" or the villains and so much for a story filled with "justice" (that kid should of been the "MC" hell he managed to "beat down" that teacher)

Oh well..... we'll see his motives on why he did that.... and I have the suspicion that that's not the last time he's going to kill the people he befriends >_<

But other than that the 3D CG animation of him doing that "Rail Gun" attack with his sword was pretty cool plus that transformation sequence and I was laughing that he kept explaining "common sense" to his enemy on why he is loosing and it seems like a hassle to be flying in one of those armors If it acts like an actual plane, like stalling in the air and nose diving to get back up

Well enough of me ranting......sleepy it's 5:02 A.M here....I've been playing non stop since about 12 P.M......good night/morning?

fufu, i actually found out about that last night before stopping by here, and i was soooo sleepy that my eyes were drooping. then of course once i saw Fate StrikerS ver., i was more like ( O . O ) . thanks to that, i stayed up an extra 30 minutes watching the video again as well as stumbling upon more news of The Battle of Aces game found here:
