Check out my new hi5 profile skin!

Hey! I'd like everyone to check out my new hi5 profile skin I made!

It's still being reviewed so it's not public as yet

I really don't know if everyone else can use the skin other than me yet.

But once it is reviewed, whether or not hi5 accepts it to their gallery you can still have access to use my skin from here.

Here's a preview of what the pieces look like:













It took a while to make, but I did it all from scratch.

Issues with the skin:
My typography wasn't the best... I tried but I couldn't get a good blending color of text to go over the profile-main-body section.
I made the colors too diverse.

Well this was my first real work using Photoshop, but i learned my lesson and will try to make a better skin next time around.

I really learned allot just making this skin.
It was fun to see the result and all.

Also with the section with the animated gears and the lock and plates pulling appart.
It came out a bit messy, but that section took me by far the longest, but I really wished it could have came out better.

Well actually it did, but the original file size for that part was like 1000+kb!

So I then had to sacrifice allot of quality and remove half of the animation in order to squeeze it into this 211kb image you see here.

I learned to not to waste time making so many animations next time, guess I wanted my skin to look unique.

Sorry the top part is so wide too.
You can always increase you screen resolution to see the full thing better.

Well I hope on seeing other members post their beautiful skin creations for us to see and use!

Hey Andrew, I was checking out your new skin and it looks great! however
you went over the top with the animations, for me I like clean lines and few distractions. The animations should be enough but not too much that it distracts you from reading the content of the page... It's just my opinion but overall great work!!!!

PS: Nice place you have here...
