What Is Role Playing?

I thought I would post this, since some people don't know how to Role Play *gasp*. So I thought this might help the people who are new to Role Playing

What is Role Playing you ask and what do you need to Role Play on the Internet? All you need is good typing fingers and a character(s) to play with. You don’t need any dice; this is not like D&D Role Playing.

You can make your characters however you want, but they can’t be too powerful, because that would be no fun. My little rule is when making your own character, it shouldn't be more powerful then the main characters (Synile and Marcus - Synile's OC's). In the Dragon Booster world, any OC can be more powerful than the main OC's, Artha and Beau.

Once you have your characters you can go Role Play, unless they're accepted from either one of the Board Administrators. Role Playing on the Internet is pretty much writing a story. Each person posts something when it is their turn to post and controls their own characters. When Role Playing anything can happen, so keep your eyes and ears open. This forum does Role Playing a bit different and I call it “Story Role Playing.” Other people can control your character, but they can’t do anything major with them. This helps all the characters stay together and make the game flow better. If you put something that is not from world of Dragon Booster or any other based, give a hint or write what it is, so people can write off of you easier.

That is all you really need to know, have fun adventuring.
