I can't believe for as long as I've been playing this game (pretty much since around late 2010) I haven't seen if any of my fellow forumers play it. Now I finally decided to make a topic about it. League of Legends is, to put it simply, the most addictive game on Earth. Screw Tetris or World of Warcraft, this game will take your life and your soul and ravenously rob any of your free time. No joke, I play at least four games a day. So for those who don't know what this game REALLY is, I'll explain. It's a MOBA game (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), kind of a mix between an RTS and an RPG in terms of gameplay. At the beginning of each game you pick a champion, each with different abilities and functions (there're hundreds to choose from) team up with four other players, and fight another five-player team and try to destroy their Nexus, while you defend yours. There are turrets blocking the way which shred champions like they're nothing but ninja turtles (get it? Shredder? Never mind...) but thankfully infinitely-spawning minions come out of your Nexus to help you bring the turrets down. As the game progresses, you level up, to a maximum of 18, and get all your other abilities, in addition to higher attack damage, ability power, health, mana, attack speed, whatever. You can also upgrade these stats yourself by going to the shop at your base and purchasing items for your inventory with gold, which you get by killing minions, turrets, neutral monsters, or enemy champions. Games are around 30-45 minutes, although I've had some last as short as 18 and as long as 75! It depends on how equally skilled each team's players are. Did I mention that it's also completely FREE to play?! I mean, okay, it's not ENTIRELY free, but it is free to play. As you play games, you earn IP, which you can use to buy new champions to play as. You can get IP faster by purchasing it with money, but it's not required. The only things you can get only with real-life money are additional skins for your champion, which don't add anything to your stats, so a rich player doesn't get any benefit compared to a free player. I would recommend this game to anyone who has free time to spare, because trust me, this game will consume your LIFE. But it's lots of fun. Anyone else play? For anyone who does play, my favorite champions are Nocturne, Darius, and Xin Zhao, although I like a lot of others too.

LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!! Been playing it for a couple years, but as of the past six months or so, I've been too busy. Plus, my computer died and I can't get a new one for a while, so I'm stuck.... But yes, it is one of THE MOST ADDICTING GAMES EVER!!! Me and my friends once played it for 18 hours straight! My favorites are Kogmaw, Re'nakran (forgot how to spell his name, he's the warrior crocodile...), Anivia, and Cho'gath. I know there's a lot of new ones out there that I haven't got a chance to try yet (like Nocturne. My life just became busy when he was released... ) But I'm the master at Kogmaw. I just up his attack power and attack speed, and I can take out towers and buildings in 10 seconds or less from full health! MACHINE GUN KOGMAW!!!!!!! Ah, good times... Good times... What's your username, in case I ever find time to play it again? Mine's Astrolizard.

I'v played it a few times with Cho'gath and enjoyed it but seeing how into the game game my best friend is I decided against downloading it. Unfortunately I just got hooked on Spore instead and now Crusader Kings II and the Original Zoo Tycoon once again.

Well, I probably play 4-5 games a day, and the average game length is probabloy 30-40 minutes, so doing the math, that's about 2-3 hours a day. Wow, putting it like that makes me realize how addicted I am to it.
