Tales of Eternia
A revolutionary step in the battle system of the "Tales of" series. It included smoother mechanics, different sprites and enemies and a bunch of various other changes that made it so much better than its predecessor, Tales of Destiny in terms of battle system. One of the best classics in the Tales series that has yet to be forgotten by fans. Eternia also had an Animation series dedicated to it.

Tales of Symphonia
The most famous installment of the Tales series. Tales of Symphonia was a big hit in both Japan and the United States. In fact, ToS was such a big hit that it was remade for the PS2 (JP only). On top of that, there was also an ongoing OVA of Tales of Symphonia as well as large amount of media merchandise. Thanks to ToS, Tales was able to grow into America as one of the most favorite RPGs.

Tales of Rebirth
A big hit in Japan as well. Tales of Rebirth is by far the most advanced 2D game in the "Tales of" series. It has one of the most unique battle systems which involve Force Cubes and 3 lines to travel upon. It features Veigue Lungberg as he tries to save his dear friend, Claire along with other friends. The party faces evil and racism along the way.

Tales of Legendia
A rather unique Tales game in the series. Legendia is developed by Team Melfes, and made its way on the PS2. Their new pattern of story, graphics and characters made it unique in its own right. However, it has received mixed reactions from fans. The story, music and characters were great but others argue against graphics, gameplay and most of all, the battle system.

Tales of the Abyss
One of the greatest stepping stones in Tales history. It sparked a lot of fan attraction because it is developed by Team Symphonia. Like Legendia, Abyss was also the target of mixed fan reactions. Most people loved the battle system, characters and gameplay while others criticized the storyline, graphics and music.

Tales of Graces
The first mothership title to hit the Nintendo Wii! It is planned for a release in Winter of 2009. There is no major news on it thus far but it does introduce the new Style Change system. To be updated.

Narikiri Dungeon Series
The Narikiri Dungeon series are crossovers of Tales games mostly on the GBA. The characters of every series unite after being pulled from their universes by a time machine. At the same time, the Tales villains also unite to cause havok in the world of Narikiri Dungeon. At the moment, there are 3 Narikiri Dungeon titles and it seems to be discontinued in favor of Radiant Mythology.

Tales of the Tempest
The first Tales on the Nintendo DS! Tempest reuses the concept of the racism between humans and half-animals as well as the Triple Linear Battle System! While this game was very shortlived, some consider this game worth the try.
