This is an RPG board so RPG rules apply. Failure to follow these rules will result in warnings and, if neccesary, banishment from the RPG:
1. When you register with the boards register as your character's name, first and last. It makes things a lot easier and a lot less confusing. If you've already joined with the wrong name then contact an admin and we will change your name for you.
2. Absolutely NO SPAM. It will be deleted and you will be asked to discontinue it or face the consequences. If we catch you spamming in order to raise your post count, your posts will be set back to zero, no questions asked.
3. Please read and follow the RPG rules that are posted. Warning will only be used to a point. Banning is the next step.
4. Please don't PM members about other RPG sites. We won't allow it. If this occurs, PM capabilites to anyone outside of the Staff will be restricted on your account.
5. If your character swears, be realistic about it. Swearing after every word will not be permitted.
6. You may only have one character starting off. Once you reach 100 posts on that character you may register again with a new character of the opposite sex of your first. If we see that you are not keeping one of your characters active, we will freeze the second account until the problem is rectified. Easy solution? Keep your characters active.
7. Liquid time is permitted, if and only if, your character has been stuck for more than a day. Also, your character can only be posting in two places at one time. This does not include texting or Facebook.
8. If two characters relationships deteriorate to the point where a physical fight might occur, please keep it realistic. We don't want 30 posts of 'Tom punched Jake' 'Jake kicked Tom' 'Tom kicked Jake back.' 'Jake fell and tripped Tom.' That's considered spam. Also, no god-modding or power-playing is allowed.
9. All entries will be made is past tense to avoid confusion.
10. You can't post an OOC post only. It has to have some in character text.
11. Don't double post if you want to have your character leave and no one has posted after you. Use the edit button. That's what it is there for.
12. The code for registration is 'Whatever It Takes'. Please PM this phrase to any of the staff members directly after registration, or when you send your bio in. If you do not, we will advise you to read the code. Your bio will not be posted until this is read.
13. Keep all signatures 400x150 (or smaller) or they will be removed.
14. Avatars may be changed once a week and should be no bigger than 115x130. Staff may change them whenever they like.
15. We have set up a short paragraph of what your family is like, and/or based on. Follow the path we have started! Do not completely change your/your family's storyline.
16. When it comes to PB's, BE REALISTIC. If Jimmy and Hazel have a child together, it wont end up looking like (ex)Mandy Moore. So, please try to keep it realistic, or we will have to change your PB for you.
17. You must have over 200 posts for your character to get pregnant, 150 to get engaged, and no characters are allowed to be married unless they are over 18. If it is important that one of these three things happen to your character, PM a member of the highschool elite and get permission first.
18. Do NOT write sex scenes. Instead, do either the 'fade to black...' thing or the '-insert sex here-' thing. If you are caught writing sex scenes, that post will be deleted and you will be banned.
19. Don't ask to be a part of the staff.
