Welcome to Dementophobia: Love Me Tenderly (DPLMT)!
From every angle a new creature walks by, sometimes strutting, fluttering, or even teleporting in the blink of an eye. A beautiful sight to see, perplexing and quite queer inevitably yet people cannot help but be drawn into the mystery of it all as they let it engulf them whole.
In this peaceful land, where of course evil lurks somewhere, crisis lingers on the down low because it does not effect a giant mass. Each happening tends to effect a group then gets told to the others who make it sound more like a rumor than a horrid truth.
Welcome to a fantasy land where the plants are still green yet not everything is perfect. Where people are more likely to talk casually with strangers but racism, sexism, etc. hides behind closed doors. The good doers attempt to make it cease only to find the sinister villians already plotting against it. A casual balance...
Then in the middle lies the neutral parties who could care less so long as they aren't involved. They rather let their lives linger on however they see it fit.

//Basic & Roleplaying Rules
This forum is rated M for mature.
1. No godmoding, flaming, powerplaying, flooding, etc.
2. Be literate, I'm not kidding. At LEAST two paragraphs per post.. I don't want to see some bullshit on the forums. And typing like this:
QUOTE
Sally walked to the shop. She broke a window. Then she got shot.
---Literate vs Nonliterate... Literate people use grammar and would follow everything I just said... Also everything in the "Do's and Don't's". Nonliterate people would use lots of chatspeak, bad grammar, bad spelling, extremely short posts, etc. Try being at least semi-literate.. Mainly follow the host. If they don't care, then don't care. If they say be literate, ya gotta.
3. Double posting is BAD. The edit button is your friend. If you feel there is something you forgot, edit. If you don't want the topic to die.. Too bad. =.= If no one is replying, it's dead. Move on.
4. BE ACTIVE. Don't join a topic then just disappear out of nowhere.
5. Though I do allow explicit content on the site, please don't make other members feel uncomfortable. Preferably sex scenes should go through PM to avoid disturbing other members. Also, don't push anything if the member doesn't want their character to be involved with such content. Sure this site is supposed to be realistic but I don't want complaints.
Pretty much don't force a member to do anything they don't want to. Otherwise? I'm all right with whatever.
6. Even though I DO allow characters to be racist, sexist, homophobic, etc... it will NOT be tolerated in OOC. If that's how you are then either don't talk or don't voice that part of your opinion. I will not let other members feel uncomfortable just because you're dickwad. Ya, I know I just insulted a member if they are racist, etc. Thing is I don't care =D because I'm severely against people racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. People are allowed to be people, who cares what they are. I made this site thus it will follow properly. I'm not racist, sexist, nor homophobic. Damn if I don't want gay marriage passed (which it's awesome that it did in California! [especially since I live here]). If you choose to disagree with me on believing that all people should feel comfortable on this site and that all people should be treated equally then fuck you and get off my site right now cause you'll get banned anyway.
7. PLEASE do NOT post your character in more than one place. I would really prefer if it was just one place at a time and whatnot. It's not because I actually give a damn about such a thing (it's more of a pet peeve) but I'm using this site to help me write my novels thus it's really hard to put them together if not even my members are consistent. I wouldn't know what happened in what order.
8. Register ONE character per account and each account must be your character's full name. Example: Musho Misaki. You do NOT register as their nickname. Do NOT register with something like "NinjaQueen". Just your character's name, that's it. Then you go submit your application.
9. All accounts must have the avi and siggy be of their own character, nothing more. If you need someone to make you an avi and siggy then please PM Musho Misaki, I will gladly make you a pair.
//Some roleplaying definitions
Godmoding- To be like a God. All powerful, invincible. Enhanced in everything and undefeatable.
Powerplaying- To control another's character. Make them get hit, look at you, die, etc. To control someone else's character without permission in a way they should control themselves.
Flaming- To argue a lot in an unneeded way. Instead of roleplaying, continuously arguing in OOC. It's not really considered flaming if it is about the RP... but it's bad nonetheless.
Flooding- To post continuously one after the other. Bob, Joe, Bob, Joe, Bob, Joe. This rule is now in commense. Doesn't matter if you did it before. Now that it is a rule.. Be aware of the other RPers. No one likes seeing six pages of just two people. ((sorry about that)) Though, it's not as bad if it had nothing to do with the other characters but it is still bad nonetheless. The only way this is allowed is if the RP itself is originally two people, thus it's not considered flooding.
OOC- Out Of Character
IC- In Character
GM- The host. The creator. Game Master. The person who made the topic is in complete control. If they say you can't do something, respect it. To be a good GM, you should be active and reply to your RP a lot. If you don't intend to, leave the duties to someone else. Do not defy the host. Ask permission of them if you aren't too sure as to what the hell you are doing.
Chatspeak- To speak like a n00b. Examples! Brb, h/o. OMG WTF? OMFG ROTFL. Those are some examples of chatspeak. Along with "u" and "ppl". Be right back, hold on, oh my god, what the fuck, oh my fuckin god, roll on the floot laughing. You, people. Those are the proper ways. Chatspeak is all right in OOC. In IC? No. Not good.
n00b/newb- To be new or crappy. n00b is bad. It tends to mean you are new and majorly suck. Using lots of chatspeak. Newb isn't bad. It means you are new. 'Bout it.
Mary Sues and Gary Stues- See "Roleplaying Do's and Don't's".
