-Plots are mini stories that happen all about the world of DPLMT. I suppose they are more of subplots if you could really call them anything proper being as a plot would involve all characters when these little plotlines pretty much focus on a set race or two, occasionally a city.

These beginning plots are just a set basis for each race so everyone can get a hang of how their race is or what is going on at the start. It is very vague and bland so you can take it however you would like to. Being as this site could get bigger causing more plots to be born you should definately pay attention closely to this section just in case a new plot arises. Don't feel obligated to read all of the plots, you can if you want but I'm not holding you to it. I know if I was a member I definately wouldn't want to read a plot that had nothing to me unless I was bored out of my mind. All new plots will be in an announcement if they appear thus you have no worries if you read the Announcements. If you don't then you are pretty much screwed once I found out that you aren't following your character's proper plotline.

--EXAMPLE:
A Horned Child will RARELY be seen socializing with a Summoner without angst in some way. All Horned Children know what happened to their race even if they weren't alive at that time.

The only way to excuse the above example is if the Horned Child is angsty through it and eventually becomes friends once they realize they will not be harmed but that takes a long time because Horned Children are extremely bitter. I would be too if I was taken into slavery against my will and had my horns chopped off so someone could own me without so much as a light of hope to someday return home then after I'm finally free I can't even return home because only the summoners had the proper transportation and it was all destroyed in an explosion when the legendary Haku attacked the summoner's main city to free my people. In fact I would be furious.


---Now... I am NOT that only one who makes plots. Of course when a member makes plots it can't be pertaining to a specific race or city unless they have a high status. Such as if you are mayor of a city then you have full right to post up a plot or update on the city, such as laws passed. Thing that's different is you have to get it passed through ME first before you even think about posting it here. Just fill out the following application and PM it to me, Musho Misaki, and I will think about it. If I accept it then just post up your own topic in this section with your plot and it's explanaion along with all races it applies to in the Topic Description. If you would prefer me to do it then just tell me that and I will gladly do it for you.

If I do accept it keep a note that when you post it up in a topic that it must be at least two paragraphs long explaining what is going on and who it involves, etc.

//Everybody Knows/Believes...

-About Musho Misaki, the High Priest of the long thought extinct race of Ancient Elves. Whether they know numerous things about him or just that he is some priest in a forest, everyone knows about him.
-Watsubaku are flat out extinct, especially compared to Ancient Elves. From what they have found out, there is only one record in existance (Alilyn Garumai).
-That the summoners enslaved the Horned Children and that a free Horned Child, Haku, freed the people. It varies from person to person if they support it or are against it. (Read the debate section to know the sides)
-About Shadows' Layer but only if they live in the main city or heard about it in a rumor. Pretty much everyone knows it exists.
-That Sly/Ghost lives in the Forest of Wonder, not much else known.
-A demon lives in a shack near the main city (unless you are a foreigner, in which you wouldn't).
-That humans are rare in this area. In fact you could consider this area an island if anything. You have to travel a vast amount of water to reach where the humans come from.

//Angels

This plot isn't much of a plot but more of what you need to know going on with the angels. They tend to avoid too much social interaction with the other creatures. I would advise you to read ALL of the plots if you are an angel though, they usually know everything. It is an obsession they tend to have.

Angels are one of the cockier races and always deny the fact that they weren't created first.

Everything explained in the description of this race pretty much sums up everything you would ever need to know about them. Just understand that most angels avoid going near Ancient Elves because they are in extreme denial over being created later than them.

Also be aware... ANGELS RARELY SHOW THEMSELVES AS ANGELS. They just look like humans unless they show their wings.

Needs to Read: I would suggest you read everything, honestly. Angels tend to know everything there is to know. The only section you wouldn't have to know as an angel would be Ancient Elves and Watsubaku. It is unlikely an angel would know about them.

//Demons

This plotline varies from demon to demon but I can tell you about the Main City which is where the majority of them live....

The main things you should know about the Main City (haha):
1. The Summoner City was destroyed by the legendary/infamous Haku the Horned Child, legendary or infamous depending on it you like him or not. Of course all most everyone should know about this but it will be better explained in the Debate section. Why did it end up getting mentioned under the demons beginning plot? Because they are the ones who debate about it immensely. Otherwise everyone else has chosen a side.
2. Shadows' Layer is run by the Shadow brothers which are popular cat demons well known for their thick accent (that most people assume is something like Scottish) and for how fast they speak especially since Jack, the youngest brother and who owns the actual inn, won't bother slowing it down unless you are a wealthy customer. Their inn is well known for their great hospitality, room, food, and bar being as it's more of an inn, resturaunt, AND bar. Sadly Jack, unlike Kris who is the older brother, has grown bitter over the years thus dog demons and summoners are not allowed (you can't tell that he's for the Horned Children at all!)
3. Demons tend to either own small businesses (Jack is the only one with a big one) or work under other demons being as they have been ridiculed throughout the years for being different unless they were raised here. Originally demons began appearing in the human realm of the world in which they were continuously shunned but then they found this realm, somehow, and chose to live in the main land.

Needs to Read: Varies. If you live in the main city then read anything pertaining to that. Otherwise pretty much read what you want.

//Ancient Elves

Most of the plot for this race is already explained in the race topic.
Thus all I can really explain is that you either know that Musho exists and know him as the High Priest and where he reigns (more than likely live in that realm) or you have no clue you are even an Ancient Elf (which is ALWAYS capitalized).

I would feel a big need to explain this race in detail but I will rarely accept it because it is rare.

//Dark elves

Dark elves are inevitably the race that would know about the notorious Sin who is rumored to be dead. Sin was once a dark elf until one day a vampire lurked about, pounced, and thus turning the evil man into a vampire himself. Not much is known about him other than he is sinister and has a daughter named Kat. Rumor has it that he was killed be the infamous man-killer (Sayoki) but no one has been able to prove or disprove the suggestion.

Otherwise dark elves actually have no specific civilization being as they try their hardest to steer clear from one another, no one is quite sure as to why.

Needs to Read: Not much, actually. Read what you want to read.

//Forest elves

These creatures live in Forest Elf Cove and are commonly referred to as "light elves" to counter the dark elves that live in the mountains.

Forest elves actually don't know much about the world unless the rumor is big enough to spread from the main city (that they live close to) and reach them through Sly. Otherwise they live a pretty normal life with the nature around them. Only knowing anything that happens amongst themselves.

Needs to Read: Anything pertaining to their race otherwise not much.

//Elementals

Have no specific plotline, varies on where they live.

Needs to Read: Whatever pertains to where they live.

//Guardians:

No one but the person who made the Guardians needs to know.

//Halflings:

No specific plot. It's just a title for those born a "mutt" AKA mixture of two or more races.

Needs to Read: Anything pertaining to their races.

//Healers:

No specific plot. Just creatures with powers, usually human.

Needs to Read: Whatever you want. If you are social I would suggest reading anything involving Musho or the main city.

//Hellspawns:

All that is known is that hellspawns serve the "devil" in some way, shape, or form (rumor has it they may serve Shikyo but no one is sure... of course I would tell you through PM who you are serving but let's keep it a secret otherwise).

You would probably know about Gabriel being as he's a hellspawn known for being the only one who doesn't serve the devil but wallow in his sorrows enough to where the devil allows it.

Everything else with this race is explained in the Races section.

Needs to Read: Whatever they want. Usually whatever pertained to the race originally had before the transformation.

//Horned Children

Needs to Read:

//Humans

Mainly live away from here otherwise they live in the main city. There is no specific plotline with humans so just follow another race's opinion or thinking. That's what they usually do.

If you're from the maiden land for humans (rest of earth) then that means you'd know more about what's going on outside than in.

Only big thing is the vast majority of humans HATE, loathe, whatever horrid word you would like to use demons.

//Others

How can I give a plotline to something made up?

//Summoners

Basically what is said in the Horned Child plotline except, obviously, don't view themselves as horrible people (what slaveowner would?). Thus the majority of them hate Haku and are sprinkled about the world being as well over half of them are now dead.

Needs to Read: Anything with Summoners and Horned Children. Definately the debate section.

//Vampires

No specific plotline.

Needs to Read: Vampire related articles.

//Watsubaku

Very little is known about this race to begin with thus only people I accept as this race will get to know what they'd need to know.

No specific plotline.

Needs to Read: Nothing.

//Witches/Wizards

No specific plotline.

Needs to Read: Probably read about the main city. I'd imagine plenty of them reside there.
