//Greetings\\
Welcome to Dementophobia: Love Me Tenderly (DPLMT)!

From every angle a new creature walks by, sometimes strutting, fluttering, or even teleporting in the blink of an eye. A beautiful sight to see, perplexing and quite queer inevitably yet people cannot help but be drawn into the mystery of it all as they let it engulf them whole.

In this peaceful land, where of course evil lurks somewhere, crisis lingers on the down low because it does not effect a giant mass. Each happening tends to effect a group then gets told to the others who make it sound more like a rumor than a horrid truth.

Welcome to a fantasy land where the plants are still green yet not everything is perfect. Where people are more likely to talk casually with strangers but racism, sexism, etc. hides behind closed doors. The good doers attempt to make it cease only to find the sinister villians already plotting against it. A casual balance...

Then in the middle lies the neutral parties who could care less so long as they aren't involved. They rather let their lives linger on however they see it fit.

Where do you stand?

Vague News
August 6, 2008
Note: To slow down the news, just hover over the text flying up.
We have gained a brand, spanking new mod who will be helping me around the place to edit up people's posts who have requested the spell check option explained in their template. So let's give a round of applause for my dear friend Chris AKA Kari Izumi! I believe he will do a SPECTACULAR job.

Also, the rules have been updated due to realizing minor annoyances. Such as you now have to register and post your template because I find it annoying to see people not being able to use the edit button. That was completely bad on my part, I apologize. Then I'm going to get rid of the 20 posts to make a new character rule. Just don't make too many for you to handle and we should be fine. If you start ignoring an acount, I will hound you down.

Our first Character of the Month and Member of the Month contests will commense once we receive more members. Until then the little avatars I have put there will stay in place.

Also, the summoner race description has been changed. All members pertaining to summoners (pretty much are a summoner) should go read it.

Thank you and have a grand day <3

The High Priest entered the Mother's temple in hopes of some answers whether it be from the Mother or Death herself, he needed to know how his friend was doing. Normally he would attempt a simple spell to locate him and read his emotions or his mind but he wasn't sure where Alex could possibly be by now. He could have left the asylum or still be there. Maybe he was traveling about somewhere and taking his sweet time getting here. There was numerous possibilities for the whereabouts of his friend yet he couldn't just waste his time trying to figure out the right one thus he decided to ask a higher being who could tell him right away.

Already he had both of his hands up in the proper prayer position, thumb out with his middle and pointer finger erect while the rest of the fingers were down with the palm facing the ceiling or sky. Musho kept his head low as a sign of respect as he walked up the steps to the floral statue. Unlike other religions Musho refused to guess what the Mother's appearance could be so he avoided such statues. He knew the Mother loved nature and quickly made something she would hopefully enjoy. It stood roughly ten feet tall, a young willow tree with flowers swirling about the trunk. Anytime he chose to pray to the Mother he would pray in front of that. For some reason it felt like a closer connection than praying anywhere else.

"Oh, sweet Mother... grant me the answer to my question..." he then got down on one knee before the statue. "Where is he now? If you are too busy to speak with me... then allow me to speak with Shikyo. I must know his whereabouts."

Kate walked in unknowing that The High Priest himself was praying. Surely if she had known he was here she would have waited. In repects to his praying she bowed her head and clapsed her hands together. 'Mother...grant me the simple wish that you will hear Musho's prayer...he wants nothing more then to locate his friend...' Though in the back of her mind Kate knew it was none of her business who Mu-...The High Priests friend was her natrual curious nature wanted to ask.

She didn't know Musho all that well. Of course, all the basic stuff you would know from a person who took you in and lived with all your life. But nothing beyond that. He knew a lot about her, who she was what she went threw...It had to be her turn to ask the questions...right? Slowly she walked over next to him, head low the entire time of course, until she stood to his left.

Then she bowed before the statue, mumbling a few words to herself before asking the hardest thing in her mind. "Who...are you asking for...High Priest Musho?" Kate never did like asking personal questions if it wasn't her business.

Connection was granted to Shikyo but he wanted to also give proper attention to Kate who had come up to him with a question. In turn Shikyo would probably easedrop and know exactly what he had wanted to ask. "Hello, young one! I see you've decided to drop in," he chuckled a bit. Even though he was High Priest, Musho was still a regular being. With his title he acted no different than before he ever was granted it. He never cared for the feeling of power and only kept the name because he was closest with the Mother. If anyone else was as close as he then he would gladly share the power. His followers had a lot to learn before anything of that nature occured.

"Who I'm searching for?" Musho couldn't help but smile. The thought of his friend always brought happiness to him no matter how sinful he was. "One of the few true friends I have ever had in my lifetime... His name is Alex, I would never be surprised if you heard of him. He is all the rage in the human land across the ocean and is occasionally mentioned in our press. A man obsessed with killing, no doubt. I know it sounds horrid for someone so close to the Mother to be close with someone who is against everything She stands for but I try to not judge those who do not believe too harshly. For him killing is like a hobby... but sometimes he does it for a good reason, twisted one in fact. Such as he tries to find those who are sinners and show them the sin they have committed but he'll never admit it. I can't... entirely justify it though..." he turned to face Kate this time, before he was speaking towards the statue. "Killing is wrong no matter what the reason... and, occasionally, he does it for the wrong reasons such as pleasing himself. I can't help how my friends are though... and I know he's changed."

He stopped talking for awhile, finding it humorous how much he spoke already. Musho avoided speaking to people outside of his preachings but he loved talking about Alex and his other loved ones. Just like he loved speaking of his niece and brother who lived at his house next to the temple. "I was searching for three people originally..." Honestly Musho wasn't sure if Kate was interested in the story but he couldn't help telling it. "But I realized I should allow one to live her life how she pleased and if she wants me then she knows where to find me. Alex I have been sending hints for awhile now, knowing he wants to see me. The other..." Is dead.. For some reason he couldn't get it out. She knew she was dead and had for some time but hadn't said it. "is, hopefully, in the kind hands of the Mother... along side my other passed loved ones.."

Kate watched him carefully and took in everything as he told his tale. It interested her a lot, being stuck in a temple all day she didn't really have any tales of her own. Hearing others was a way to make up for it. This person named Alex perked her interest also, such a person to know to be the High Priests friend? Well, she wasn't going to question it. He was right, you can't help how your friends act.

"Wow...thank you for sharing that with me High Priest Musho. Such things make me...happy. Not having any friends myself I wonder what it's like a lot...must be as you speak." She smiled a little, though behind it she was hurting reminding herself of that fact. "I'm sure your other friend is happily with Mother..." She paused a moment and took in what he said about Alex killing people.

Before asking an even harder question. "How can you...forgive someone for something wrong they have done...?" Kate looked down sadly at her hands that laid infront of her. "Not talking bad about your friend...but in general..." She was refering to her mother. Leaving her here and injuring many people at the temple who were like a family to her. 'How can I just...forgive her...?'

"Oh, I'm probably rambling though...you don't have to answer that." She laughed it off a little and got up. "You contacted your friend for reason. Talk to them." She walked a little ways away, not leaving, but enough so she couldn't easedrop on what they wanted to speak out.

"Having friends is a wonderful feeling... but you always risk getting your heart broken.." Musho said with a slight smile. It was clear that he hadn't entirely accepted Kisha's death but he wouldn't ever admit it. "Someday I believe you will gain friends... Only cruel people have no friends, the cold-hearted and selfish kind. Even some of those have someone to turn to. You're kind and sweet, I'd imagine you will gain friends out of our temple in due time. If you'd like.. you can meet my niece. I believe she's close to your age."

He debated on answering her question about Alex. It was hard for him to forgive Alex for what he did to others but he would be a hypocrite if he didn't. "...For I have killed, Kate. The first time... was because I was tricked. Well, I tricked isn't the proper word... I thought I was serving the Mother when really I was serving Death." Even though Musho knew Shikyo preferred to be called Shikyo he always called her Death amongst other people because that was what she was called in the books and in the religion. Besides it seemed like a name only those she chose could call her it. "I killed thousands of her followers because she didn't want them. You would think she would... but for some reason she has never told me she wanted them all dead. I thought she was the Mother and killed the sinners without a second thought then I was deceived later on... I was forced to kill a couple years back but I refused to kill as many as I did then. I believe I only killed fifteen in my stay there and that was many years. Once I realized that it was a genocide and completely wrong... I left. Well, I suppose you could read about the rest of that when I publish my book..."

"Point is I have done it before and I know to Alex that it is an addiction such as one has with cigarettes and things of that nature. He wants to find me... and to enter this domain you cannot have one thought on your mind about killing so if he wants me he will stop his habit."

"Wow..." Was the only word the escaped Kate's lips hearing his story. Never did she know the story behind the High Priest. It was interesting, sad, even scary a little. Never in her life would she have guessed that the man infront of her killed. He just wasn't the killing type. Thousands, on top of that. He stopped once he found out it was wrong...maybe that's just what her mother did.

"Thanks for sharing that with me Mu-...High Priest Musho. I think I have a better understanding on the subject at hand. Maybe someday I can be has forgiven as you...but for now I'll always just be one step behind." She laughed a little at herself. It wasn't easy for a girl her age to speak in such a proper matter. "Sometimes it's just...hard to."

"I could never forgive myself for what I've done but supposively the Mother has. I just hope she helps my friend and forgives him as well." Musho smiled and turned his face to the statue. The connection with Shikyo was granted, the goddess already laughing at his request. She was bitter against him ever since he told people how she helped him. Musho didn't feel like talking through his mind to her at the moment because he was already exhausted from prayers he had before. Thus he had to figure out how to still talk with Shikyo and Kate at the same time.

"Now, Kate, from what you have heard of Death.. Would you ever care to meet her? Even with me explaining that she was the one who tricked me into killing thousands of people? And do you think others would care to become her follower?" He decided to show Shikyo what others thought of her. By now she probably figured out he was still talking to someone else.

"Also... do you believe love exists? Like if there was someone you held dearly and somehow lost their soul, do you think it would be better to get it back or to just let them go entirely? I'm sorry, these are both thoughts that have just occured to me."

"No. I would never want to met Death or follow her." She answered rather quickly and was pretty confident in it. 'Death isn't someone I would care to meet...no pun intended...' She laughed a little at herself, what a bad joke. Then she tried to become serious again. "The only people who would ever follow her are people who wish to kill and have an excuse for it."

Pausing for a second she took in his next question. It was nice to talk like this, she just wish she knew the right answers to his questions. "I do believe love exsists. In many forms, at that. Love for your family. Your friends. Even that one person you would hold deeply in your heart. There are many different kinds of love." She nodded at her answer. It was hard to turn her thoughts into the right words.

"I'm...not quite sure how to answer your last question...If I ever met a dear friend as such who had lost their soul...I guess I'd choose to get it back." She thought on it more, coming up with a blank. "Sorry Musho...but I just can't seem to go any further then that. Forgive me."

He smiled when she said she would never follow Death. In a way he showed her that nothing he had said changed all of the bad things she had caused and that no matter what people would view her horribly. Only bad people would choose to follow her which were a rarity to see in his domain for the magical barrier enclosing them prevented anyone with ill thoughts from entering and Musho was the only one who spoke of Shikyo. Otherwise the religion written down vaguely mentions her. Without speaking to her directly he proved to Shikyo no one would become her follower anytime soon.

"Don't fret, child. I just like hearing other people's opinions," he chuckled a bit. It was probably odd for her to see Musho like this. Most of the priests saw Musho during sermons or only spoke with him right before or after one. Otherwise they avoided speaking with him in fear of interrupting something. In truth he was a pretty normal guy but all the others saw was the High Priest. "If you were in the position where you had the knowledge of how to put a soul back into a soulless person's body would you give the information to the person who loved them? Of course after they proved they really loved them. Would you?" Cleverly he was shoving it in Shikyo's face in an attempt to help whoever was stuck in her domain at this moment. More than likely it was Kari helping out that Haku fellow, the only one he knew that was soulless at this time.

"Of course. They proved that they really love this person, why not give them the infomantion?" Kate was even more confused of why she was being asked all these questions. She didn't really have any knowledge on it. "Besides...the person is emotionless. I wouldn't even wish that upon the cruel people..." Wish a long pause she thought about what she just said. Something about it wasn't right, but she shook it off.

"Why...are you asking me such things anyway High Priest Musho...?" It wasn't that she didn't like him asking her about things. Quite the opposite, she liked it. It was like she was bounding with him. But this was sudden, and the stuff he asked wasn't really all that normal...at least for her.

"That definitely makes sense... You would be a cruel person yourself if you wished that upon anyone, really," Musho chuckled slightly. "I suppose, who knows..." This whole conversation was showing the High Priest in a new light. Rarely had he ever acted freely in front of the people of his temple. In fact he usually held it all in until he went home to Kat and Devin. He wasn't sure why but he did. "Wishing harm is natural... it is part of our instinct... and no one is truly innocent or kind as it is..." Musho found himself rambling, again. He did this often without realizing he ever did. Sometimes it could last half an hour before Musho stopped himself.

"I know someone who is in this situation... Not that they are trying to get someone's soul back but that they can help someone make their love soulful. You may have heard of him... Haku Kichiki? That one... Horned Child running about. He was the one who destroyed the main summoner city. I'm not sure if that was part of your time... Not that you're young or old or immature or..." He stopped himself, realizing he was losing his point and not making sense. "I'm just not sure if you were paying attention to the news at that time or if you like history at all... Anyway, he sold his soul. Now the woman who is madly in love with him is trying to get the information to retrieve his soul from a friend of mine who knows how. Sadly my friend is sensitive and likes to play games to figure out if people are worthy of the information she holds. So she pushed the woman without realizing it could possibly backfire on her. It did backfire and a sensitive subject got shoved in her face. Now, as most women do, no offense, my friend is being bitter and selfish and now chooses to not give the woman the information but I find that unfair. I honestly think she should give it to her. Don't you agree?"

Kate grew confused throught out the whole story he told. Getting herself mixed up with one person and another. She simply nodded threw out the entire thing before taking a moment to gather up all the new infomation. "Okay...So one person got bitter at another and now she won't give the OTHER one info...Am I correct...? Well, if that's the case, she should give her the info but...being a women myself I can see why she got bitter." Kate laughed a little.

"Bring stuff up you clearly don't want to her can make you even do the stupidest things...some things that can ruin the relationship between the person. Yeah know? But there's a time where you just need to grow up and get over it...I guess." She stopped for a moment and became a little nervous. "I-I'm sorry for rambling High Priest Musho..."
