Wat's ur favorite anime?

(Not incluiding any DragonBall/Z/Gt related)

My fav anime= Full Metal ALchemist(would be fooly cooly if it were longer than 6 episodes)

Well u noe me, i dont have a favorite anime as of yet tho i like FLame of Recca and many old school animes!

yu yu hakusho for sure...i feel that i would like it more than dbz if it had some good games...just the whole dbz experience makes me like it more..haha if that makes any sense

Neon Genesis Evangelion is my favorite anime ever. Though FLCL is a close second.

Naruto. Fights are great just as good as dbz and the story well kicks dbz's ass.

Bleach, because it has swords and all.

One Piece, it's one of the only anime/manga IMO that actually can beat DBZ in terms of story, action, etc.

My least favorite is Naruto, IMO it's one of the worst, overrated mistakes in anime ever which only had one "OK" arc at the beginning. All the children love it for its humiliating name, it's stupid "epic/honor" scenes which are so cheezy to the bone and its "teenage drama". Waste of talent IMO, the series mangaka should approch something different than an action shonen because all he made is just a crappy toned down version of every current-generation anime's love child. >_>

Mushishi, by far!
Second is Death Note. Death Note is more gripping and tense than Mushishi, but Mushishi is so much more memorable.

I'm a huge fan of super robot animes. My fav would have to be Shin Getter Robo, followed by GaoGaiGar FINAL.

One Piece and Kinnikuman are my absolute favorites

I kinda agree with the stuff you said.

I think One Piece is definitely a better shounen than dragonball(yet it took influences from dragonball, so it's unfair to say that) but there are plenty of anime and manga that beat both of them.

Shounen Jump is just the tip of the Iceburg.


as for naruto, yeah. Teen Angst is the new thing in this generation of shounen. Naruto isn't the only series guilty of it.(Bleach)

It just makes the series impossible to take seriously. Unless you've like never read a real book before and have no idea what good writing is.

Teen Angst? does it equal teenage drama? Aneway I agree with what u said about the scenes being cheesy because it feels like shippuden took Naruto ate it and shit it out with crappy music and that= shippuden. But the manga is great for naruto. As for OP I just got past the goldenbell arc or skypia and im kinda bored with it. THey need cooler villians/ better storyline because I feel like im just watching ur average pirate story with cooler fights.

This may be hard to believe, but I've never really been that big on anime/manga. Most of the anime you guys have named (especially Heromaster) I've never even heard of before.

Besides DBZ, I'd say YuYu Hakusho is my favorite (you can probably guess which type of anime I do tend to watch.) I never have liked Naruto, and the only other Anime I can think of that I really got into besides DBZ and YYH is Cowboy Bebop, but even that didn't last long. I tend to get bored with most anime before I can really get into it so that's my problem with most of them.
